    You guys are the best bar none,I'm in my 50s now and still drive a 5.0 everyday (when i was younger and these cars came out we never called them Foxbodies, no one did) plus i have my backup that I'm restoring,i remember being in my late 20s when LMR came out,i have been buying stuff from you guys since then, i was tallying up how much money i have spent with you guys in the last 6 years, it was something like 5 grand!! thats just the last 5 years, not counting the other 19 or so, lol, i sure love these cars and always will, I'm a true fanatic.
    These circuit boards will be a godsend,there is actually one of these traces on this board that goes to your alternator,what happens is after many years of removing the cluster to install gauges or any other thing you remove the lower power plug and sometimes it "bites" the circuit board once you plug it back in because the board is pliable and it has to be folded into the hole in the cluster where the plug goes in and eventually it will cut that trace, what happens next is your alternator wont charge the battery and you are pulling your hair trying to figure out why????
    Last place in the world you would be looking for a issue with your charging system is in the back of a cluster,lol, its part of the voltmeter gauge circuit, you guys ever need any help with strange issues regarding these cars just drop me a line,chances are i have experienced it 🤣

    I recently did this with my 91. Purchased my circuit board from a competitor, and I couldn't believe it, it was an old new stock part! I was so nervous, but it was easy.

    Thank YOU!! I don't have to, at this time, change the cluster board, but this is a gift that is FANTASTIC. I have a problem with my fuel gage needle, have had it since I bought my '87 used in 1992. It reads FULL, until I have maybe a gallon or less? and then drops to empty!!
    I have used my trip odometer, and every 280 to 300 miles, I fill up.

      Try replacing the fuel level sending unit in the gas tank. Roughly a $60 part.

    I concur with Landon, swapping in a new cluster lens does make a huge difference.

      Ha! Try being a 91-93 5.0 Thunderbird guy, our cars are a weird combo of, 94-95 'stang, foxbody, taurus, '99+cobra, and unique Thunderbird parts. Idk how I even keep mine on the road sometimes 😅. Lol parts hunting is half the battle

    Would a bad cercit board be the reason for my oil, temp and gas gauges not working properly or at all?

    • @latemodelrestoration
      @latemodelrestoration  7 месяцев назад +1

      Possibly. I'd recommend disassembling the gauge like you see us do in the video and inspect the factory board for broken or damage circuits. -Landan
