    This could be what I have been looking for in weeks, beginner friendly . Off to my machine trying it with 100% cotton and a back zipper. I need luck 😫 with this.
    Thank you

    Lovely simple top. It looks beautiful on you. Thank you so much for sharing 🙏 As someone with quite a bit of tummy I think I will add maybe a long frill to the bottom 😉😂

      It really wasn’t expensive I’m sure it was less than £5 a metre! I got this at my local market 🙈

    Hi, just a quick question if you don't want the straps tied can you just use 2?

    • @Tammy.Handmade
      @Tammy.Handmade  2 года назад

      Hey! Yes that is a very easy adjustment. Just measure where you want the strap to start and end over your shoulder and cut out two straps x

    Hey, do you use a special technique to sew this kind of fabric? Meaning when I sew an elastic fabric with my sewing machine, then it's not elastic anymore and I can't put it. Thanks so much!

    • @Tammy.Handmade
      @Tammy.Handmade  Год назад +1

      You need to use a stretch stitch when sewing like a zig-zag stitch to help keep the elastic properties of the fabric.

    Can I use knitted jersey cotton for this?

  • @spicynutmeg9743
    @spicynutmeg9743 Год назад

    Does it have to be a stretchy fabric? If not, how would you suggest the measurement change?

    • @Tammy.Handmade
      @Tammy.Handmade  Год назад +1

      Yes it needs to be stretchy fabric, you would need to add width to the side seams with non-stretch fabric and some bust darts/shaping x

    How many yards in total should I buy? And could you please tell me what kind of fabric it is..

    • @Tammy.Handmade
      @Tammy.Handmade  Год назад

      Hi you will only need between 0.5-1 yard of fabric for this top. You will need stretchy fabric like a knit or jersey x

    • @Tammy.Handmade

      Hi, This title is: no sewing pattern, so you don’t need a sewing pattern to make this - just need to use your own measurements! 💜
