All of the Tone Poet stuff sounds amazingly natural, at least imo. If one goes from listening to a typical overly processed, layered type modern recording to listening to most any of the Tone Poet stuff - one after the other - it can literally be a jolting experience. I totally get why you're collecting them.

I'm happy that YOU are happy! You can spend that kind of money on any number of situations in life (that are necessary), but don't make you happy.

I just finished my recording and mixing room earlier this year. I've been an audio nerd for decades, but never really heard what well planned acoustic treatment can do for the sound. I think it's not just money well spent, but critical for critical listening. It doesn't have to cost all that much either if you have the time to build the panels yourself.
P.S. I love those WE757A's, would love to own if not at least hear a pair (or even one) of those someday! I can only imagine the amount of time and luck it took to come across that beautiful pair.

I have been looking at the UMIK-1 from miniDSP. During the setup, I used an audio analyzer set from RTA on my ipad with a calibrated microphone from Dayton. I thought it did a good job but the UMIK & REW seems to be a step up, I will order and report back.

Cool. Shipping is a bit steep but it comes direct from Korea IIRC. If you buy used make sure it has the serial number so you can get the calibration file.

Super nice layout, congrats! Looks like the K-horn in the corner on the left might be partially blocking your A/C return . . . not sure if that's good for your A/C unit.
