In the end there's gonna be four possible outcomes for Bell. 1. Bell only gets with one girl (most likely it will be a showdown between Ais and Hestia) 2. A harem builds itself around him. 3. Bell dies saving everyone. 4. Bell ends up alone since everyone around him dies. Personally I prefer #1 with Ais since bell would eventually die being a human and Hestia would still live after that. That's just sad if you think about it.

Since episode 1 Bell has had a romantic interest in Aiz as well, being she saved his life and his powers continue to grow due to his skill Liaris Freese, it is stated his rate of growth will continue as long as he maintains his feelings, we can infer or interpret this as his feelings for Ais, as Hestia states "this is stupid, it's only cause you like some dumb other girl" when she see's his skill for the first time and decides to keep it from him. Thus Ais and Bell are the best ship

It's too bad the anime leaves out a bunch of stuff from the light novels that goes further to flesh out both Aiz and Hestia, and how they feel and act how they do.
Hestia's possessiveness comes from Bell being the only mortal who didn't reject her when she was recruiting familia, and her being one of only three virgin goddesses really complicates the matter. She quickly grew attached (since he was her, um, "first") and Bell didn't help matters by going into valis-grinding mode a few days after joining the familia to buy her a present to show his appreciation. These were the hair ties with the bells that she currently wears, what she saw in a shop window and really wanted to buy but couldn't because no valises. After that she pretty much fell head-over-heels in love with him, and we all know how volatile a virgin's emotions can be. Don't deflower virgins, people.
Aiz's feelings for him are a bit complicated, since she's emotionally stunted and very likely "on the spectrum." Not so obvious in Danmachi but really apparent in Sword Oratoria, but she agonizes over everything she says to Bell as much as he does with her. The core of Aiz's attachment is more akin to a child who really wants to pet a bunny who keeps running away from her, and that imagery is used quite often. Petting her "bunny" (Bell) and being around him calms her down and relaxes her, distracting her from her obsession of level grinding and monster killing. That's why Aiz wants to keep him around.
SPOILERS:
Hestia begins to mellow out towards Aiz in Volume 8 of the light novel after directly questioning her about Bell-- well, sort-of. She asks Aiz what her impression of Bell is, and when Aiz replies "a rabbit," she immediately relaxes and says "I always believed in you," and no longer seriously considers her a rival for Bell's affection, but still has her moments, like stealing a dance with Aiz away from Bell.
Starting in Volumes 10 and 11, Bell also starts cooling towards Aiz after she tries to murder Weine (Bell's adopted Xenos daughter-figure) a couple of times, but eventually they come to an accord when he realizes he doesn't just want to improve to catch up to her, but to surpass her so he can protect Weine, defeat Asterius, take down the Black Dragon, and reach the bottom of the Dungeon. He asks her to continue training him, she says "yeah, sure, when I have time, which I don't really have," so he beings training with Ryu on the side as well (this happens in Familia Chronicle Ryu). Starting in volumes 12-13 and possibly 14, Ryu takes over as best girl and Aiz fades into the background.
Aiz goes into a bit of a downward spiral, realizing the only difference between her and Weine is that Weine has a hero (Bell) to love and protect her as a child, where she didn't (hence the emotional damage and stunted growth). Also, she no longer has her emotional support bunny, so many sads.
Ryu is best girl after all. :)

Nah Ais still got her emotional support bunny, Bell still loves Ais after all. Oomori is just focusing on Ryuu right now given her popularity, but he is still smitten by Ais and continued to be since she is his main girl. He said he had already planned the ending out a long time ago.
I’m pretty sure that beginning with Volume 16, Aiz will get more attention. She hasn’t faded into the background, honestly. She’s just absent from that specific arc. That was an arc for Bell and his party.
Bell is still attracted to Aiz, absolutely. The relationship between them is still important to the show, due to Realis Phrase.
But She doesn’t necessarily need Bell as emotional support anymore. She’s become someone stronger.

Hestia’s problem is that she’s too clingy. She can’t accept the fact that Bell might one day marry a person that isn’t her.
Of course It will probably be a gleaming moment of character development if she does learn that. I hope she does at some point.

@@roxsshan Those were not serious rejections first of all and mainly he backed out because of his past trauma of abandonment and hestia being a goddess because she will live on forever. At the end of season 3 those issues of bell were clearly resolved by hestia and bell himself says he wants to be with her. So yea her chances are still very much there.
