I wish there were more apartment options period. Would've been cool fo be able to buy property but they really screwed themselves with that whole "You have a couple of months to live" thing cause buying things just didnt make sense in context of how desperate V's situation was.
Same. It’s nice we can get some collectible decorations by choosing different life paths and through certain quests, but it would be nice to be able to upgrade the apartment, if not buying another one (the mansion in one of the ending... is nice; but feels kinda misled by the campaign, I thought we would be able to purchase another place as part of the gameplay experience). One can only hope there will be some dlc in the future
@@funfnir3646 It looks like that was initially the plan as seen from alot of the advertisement and the narrators implication that the apartment in the gameplay demo is one of many. It seems like when they introduced Keanu and made him a big part of the game they re-wrote nearly all of the story which used loads of dev time and thats what put them in the "3 months to live" predicament. Same with car customisation and the tail way system. Shame that management dropped the ball, this game can be described as wasted potential but there are so many amazing story moments and conversations between Characters like Johnny, Panam, Judy, clair, Jackie, Tamurka that I cant dislike the game. It really could've been the beat game of the generation with a few more years in actual development (-the planning phase that took 4years)
After my 4th playthrough, I started using the apartment like a normal person - taking a shower, going to sleep, looking through the window, storing epic items and clothes I liked but couldn't upgrade enough, and in the Sun ending I am not impressed with V's Kerry-lookalike villa at all, I like this apartment, it has history, it's V's first home
Broooo, i played the game first time in september this year and do the same. This game give me real weird and scary feeling. Once time, i was immersed so much that i was feeling like a totally different person, forgetting about my past. I needed to walk around my house to feel normal. I was walking everytime in megabuilding, listening to dialoges, checking stores, in v's apartment i was looking into the window very long xD. Video game never give me that type of experience.
one little detail i love about v’s room is after a lil while with johnny being in your head you see cigarette ash trays everywhere 😭 (specifically at your desk and table by sofa)
What! I love that. Collecting little trinkets and posters as you go through the story was such a nice detail too. I do wish there were some customisation options but hopefully that's something added in later on!
@@merciful_king4242 There are little items you collect passively as you complete quests, I know there's a Vote Peralez poster for the Jefferson quest, a Lizzy Wizzy poster, I think Misty gifts you a dream catcher if you find all the tarot cards, there's a few other items too! They just show up after quest completion so it's easy to miss them, but I love the detail they add.
@@merciful_king4242 basically certain quests and as you progress through the story you can get lil things in your apartment. can probably find the full list online, but for example if you finish all the tarot finding things you get a dreamcatcher from misty! a lot of other lil things as well to fill your apartment :))
V's got a happening pad. Sure, no kitchen, but all the Nicola you can drink, and a room to store your arsenal! Another great ambience vid from this channel!
According to Cyberpunk lore, most people in that era don't own kitchens cause they would just get takeouts or the vending machines. Everything is processed food by that time. Only the rich get the better stuff.

On a side note, I do feel like it's more interesting if there's some music instead of just ambient noise (this is perfect for asmr ppl tho). I imagine it can be difficult since the radio stations in the game is not... chill;) At least not all songs. Maybe Pacific Dreams. Or, just a thought, I Really Wanna Stay at Your House with some ambience intervals; that song wakes the teen in me every time, might be good for a chill lofi mood (isn't there a bit lofi in that song too?)

The number of times I've wanted V just to sit and chill, I've lost count. Could you do this one with V's cat present? You'd get it meowing every now and then. Cute little bugger - the cat, that is.
I agree with the sit command! And sure, I can get one with the cat too, maybe incorporate that with someone's request for a louder outside ambience. I'm currently using an Alienware 17 R4. It runs the game pretty smoothly with high-ultra graphic settings, though in some areas it drops a few frames while OBS is running.
I've noticed that we have cat food and bowls, but no cat, ppl say it's a bug, also there's a present we're supposed to receive from Judy - it doesn't arrive, so I guess that also needs fixin', and I dunno where Zen Monk's Altar is supposed to go, but for now it's just lingering in our backpack. It would look dope in the apartment, like Misty's dreamcatcher, so I'm hoping they fix that, too :)

Whatever you do, do not feed the cat out in the hallways of H10. That thing then comes to live with you and it meows endlessly. At first it's cute, and then you can't stand to be in your apartment anymore.
I think it;s a way too clean and chill to be a real cyber punk apartment. Like the entire video game, it's just an artificial and fantasized version of Cyber punk. I prefer by far the 2000's Deus ex or Observer's version about how really cyber punk is bad for humanity.

When I first entered this apartment and looked out at NC before getting into bed I had a huge smile on my face.
