Amy, I just watched both of your videos and thoroughly enjoyed them - it is good to have you back and I hope that 2022 brings you lots of stitching time and also time to do some videos. I loved seeing your WIPs and kitted projects. Happy stitching…………….
Hi Amy, it was wonderful seeing your WIPs and the progress you've made on them. Now I'm going to look forward to more videos to come! Happy stitching! Lori
Beautiful stitching projects Amy! And let me just say that I love that you are letting your natural hair grow out. Those curls will be gorgeous in white! Keep that needle moving! 🤗
Oh Amy, I saw your WIP parade last year and fell in love with Sara Guermani's Wicked Christmas. Bougt the pattern ,kitted it up and started it in May. I am halfway now and love stitching on it. I started top right and worked my way down. Also loved your other projects but am more from the smalls! Look forward to your next video!
Your Green Blanket is beautiful. Love your philosophy for this year - stitch what you want when you want. That’s pretty much how I’ve always stitched except when there is a class or event with an exchange. I’m starting to get the itch to go through my decades old stash and see what I can find that I’ve forgotten.
I enjoyed the projects that you're stitching on. I'm doing a stitch from stash year for 2022.. I love the things that are in my stash, and like you said, it's time to work on them! I also found during the beginning of the Pandemic when everything was shut down that working strictly from my stash seemed to foster my sense of creativity, and I love the pieces I stitched and substitutions that I chose then. I'm hoping to find the same this year. I hope you'll have a chance to do more videos this year.. I enjoy seeing what you're up to
wow - twice in one week Amy! I really like the idea of stitching from magazines. I'm going to pull some stuff out and follow your lead! Love A Place of Her own1
Amy: Thanks so much for pointing out the color saturation tip (or the lack, thereof!) with regard to the amount of floss-to-fabric when choosing. I have not heard this suggested before, and it makes very good sense. P.S.) That tip alone showcases your years taking part in a hobby you love. As well, thanks for the suggestion of the Stacy Nash piece; planning to check out the .pdf. Newly following... --from the Midwest, US.
I’m exactly like you with my love of big projects! 😆🤗😂 I often don’t see the point of smalls unless they’re gifts. I’ll enjoy seeing your progress this year on whatever you’re working on. ☺️
There is something about a big project! I don’t have one going at the moment but I’m thinking about Serenity Harbor by By the Bay. I want to finish a couple of things first. I love the artwork on your HAED. And the Permin piece is so pretty, you will done in no time. I’ve always been a “stitch what you want when you want” stitcher. I hope you really enjoy your projects this year and look forward to more videos.
Amy...you need to stitch more smalls!! Oh, and BAPS!! Oh, and an A & E too. I finally pulled out Salem Remembered today and started my 5 days. I will post some progress tomorrow. Enjoyed stitching while watching your updates my friend.
I'm trying to do 7 (technically 9 - 2 were almost done) pages on my HAED this year. 150 stitches per day, but some days I get more, other days I get less. So 50k (ish) stitches (but tent stitch 22k in 2022 = 44k needed, so why not just finish the row for that last 6k stitches.) Good luck achieving all your goals.
