Nolan Daniels I actually think this will be korey on the album. Lacey Sturm was there to sing the rest of Jens vocals, so if it was Jen on the album, then Lacey would be singing it in the video

Lacey isn’t singing the part because it’s a new song and it’s only a small part so why have her out for one line 3 times in a song?
Nolan Daniels I hate that Jen is taking over vocals.... I just want Korey to sing more aside from the occasional songs on Comatose... and in my opinion, I find Korey sings better than Jen live, tbh.

Reece L101 yep - Jen wasn’t even in the band until the Awake and Alive album. Before that, all female vocals were from Korey! Even in their shows now, Korey usually still sings her own vocals (namely when they play Rebirthing, The Last Night, and Comatose). The more you know 🌈

I swear man Collide, Comatose and Awake are seriously becoming a distant memory for me. Like the Awake ablum is already 10 years old. The only albums i know as of now is Rise and Unleashed. Maybe thats do to fact that Skillet barley play anymore of the Comatose songs during their live concert just so they can make room for the new songs to be added to the line up. It would be nice if Skillet could play one old school song from Collide like either "My Obsession" or "Savior." Savior used to be my all time favorite song from Skillet until "Not Gonna Die" from Rise took it over for me.

Agreed, I'm hoping for another Collide or Comatose. I love Awake, Rise and Unleashed but my favorite albums of theirs are definitely Collide and Comatose.
My favorite song is Breaking Free from the Unleashed album. I adore that one so much because it’s the perfect middle ground of Collide era and Rise/Awake era
My only reading is I want to hear Jen sing in some heavy music. Breaking Free is the perfect example. It’s my favorite Skillet song bar none because it’s the perfect blend of old Collide Skillet and newer Unleashed Skillet. I have high hopes because John said the new album would have a very Breaking Free vibe to it
I've personally heard some of the Skillet songs that may make this new album in its early stages, they didn't sound like these two. They were very comatose like. The Label picks what songs make the cut for the album in the end. The ones I heard, I hope they make the record, cause they were fire, and my one buddy who says Skillet is kinda blah to him, said " Wow these songs are really good, I'll like this Skillet record if this is the route they take " So trust me, there will be some heavy bangers on this record, i just don't know which ones will make the cut.

Why didn't this song make it on the new album-Victorious that's being released August 2nd? You teased us with a good song & now we don't get it on the album. Bummer. I love you anyways Skillet.
Even if they release it on a Special Edition, it seems weird to make it the first new song played live on a mainstream tour. It's like they planned to release this and changed their mind last minute? I can't imagine they didn't have it recorded if they played it live so recently. So it should end up...somewhere.

"Chasing Eden" or something "ing Eden" I think. XD Although DMW would make a good comic book companion too so maybe they will have both. I cannot imagine they would ditch it after making it the first new song live. Given how recent it was, they had to have had it recorded so they must have some plan for it.
