Chuck steak is an underrated cut imo. Much cheaper than ribeye but still has lots of fat to make it taste good. I also like to thinly slice it and use it for beef stir fry.
Try this. Cut steak about 2 1/2 to 2 inches thick. Tenderize it. Add a ton of salt and some pepper. Get your pan very hot. Place steak on pan. Flip every minute multiple times. Add butter half way through cooking, about half a stick. You won't need to bake it once you've mastered this and it taste sooo good.
Thanks for some instructions because the steak looks good but there’s no instructions whatsoever. Do I leave it in the oven for 10 hours or 10 minutes lol
Right ❤ this is exactly how I cook mine a lot of people don't realize the key to cooking a good steak is to just keep flipping, you won't need the oven,an it'll come out well done but not dry or over cooked. Also no red!
@@dimeandbiggie353you need just less than a tea spoon and mix it with oil little water and the rest of the seasoning let it sit for at least 30 minutes you can't taste baking soda at all because baking powder is eww its not going to work but whatever you like
Oven was 400 degrees and they were delicious. You could also cook them on the pan the whole time if you prefer. You would just continue turning and basting with butter until your desired doneness.
@@GoodLifeRoad thank you for replying , they look good , I decide to give it a try , never use chuck for steaks before , was worrying if it would be too stiff and chewy , maybe oven after searing makes it more tender ?

I cook steaks direct from the freezer sometimes and they turn out just fine 😂. Whether or not I defrost first in the microwave doesn't even seem to make any difference. That was before I read an article that actually suggested cooking steaks while still frozen has its advantages and may even be preferable if you like them medium rare because you're less likely to overcook them that way.
@@Dr__Feelgood @Dr__Feelgood Your just lazy admit it , How sad and lonely and depressed do you have to be to throw a frozen steak on a skillet cause you won't wait for it to thaw out, no Chef does this 😅😂 ignorant might be you...
Not telling you how to cook just wanted to recommend something to ya; next time you sear with a cast iron crank that heat up to high and make sure the whole bottom of pan is covered in oil. Creates that perfect crispy crust.
Chuck steak is better than ribeye in terms of flavor and tenderness but the problem is it’s really hard to find a good cut, but if you do it’s gonna be the one of the best steaks of your life
huge difference between chuck steak and chuck eye steak. Chuck eye is every bit as good if not better than ribeye. Chuck steak is like eating a pot roast. Different taste and texture. Nothing close to ribeye.
You can cook them the whole time on the stovetop if you want. For medium rare I sear them on both sides about 3. min on high heat and then turn the heat down to medium and continue turning every minute or two until cooked to your liking. Here I just put them in the oven after searing so it was more hands-free. 375 for 8-10 minutes.

Is this way working to beef chuck roast ribs not only the meat for steak?
Not sure
Add little bit baking soda and corn starch marinade meat for at least 30 minutes and it will be tender and juicy
Yes! Excellent tip! ❤
Ew. Better use baking powder instead. Baking soda taste terrible

Just wash it off before cooking? Works for me.
how hot was your oven and how does it taste

Hello, are you still active?
Yes! Hi 👋
Top 5 episode right here…. This was AMAZING! I wanna see these guys win! Don’t give up Montez!
Too kind, thank you 😊
Any steak seasoned with enough salt and pepper cooked with love will always taste good some just more tender
So true! Thanks for watching ❤
Is Chuck steak a beef chuck roast cut into slices?
exactly; like a ribeye steak is a beef rib roast cut into slices
Thanks for the video 😊 I enjoyed it.
God bless.
Thanks so much!
For more flavor season the night before or at minimum 2hours prior for that thick of a steak and let sit at room temp for 30 mins before cooking.
Great suggestions. Thanks for watching ❤
Got excited and went to the fridge nad realized that my chuck roast is still frozen. :( I have to do it tomorrow.

IF you want to go even cheaper, try beef heart cut into steaks. Very good very tender. I cooked one very similar to how you did yours.
Never tried it. Thanks for sharing that and for watching!
I eat alot of beef chuck personally I like it
I'll have Ribeye once in awhile it cost twice as much as beef chuck..love being Carnivore❤..✌️ peace!

Thank you ❤. Agree, pan should be good and hot.
Love Chuck Steak
Me too! ❤
don't turn them too soon, let them get a good sear on before you flip them.
Agreed!
Cut mines into steaks while it was still a little frozen, made it easier to slice into 1 inch steaks😊
Thanks for watching!

DAMMIT looks AMAZING
My go to cut to throw on the grill
Yes! So good! Curious…do you like to marinate them first when you grill ?
Let me know if you try these! I was so excited at how much beefy flavor they have.
RAAWWW!!
Agreed.😊
Not enough heat on the initial sear.

Thanks for sharing your experience ❤
Where was the seasoning?
Salt
Pepper
Cheap and a good workout on the jaw too 😅
Surprisingly tender when you slice across the grain. Thanks for watching! ❤
What about the fat in the middle? Isnt it hard?😊
No fat softens, and melts somewhat, with heat. It’s also what gives Chuck so much flavor.
There’s no time length and how long do you bake it after searing it

Nope
Still raw 😮
Good video but not spray on oil bud 😅
I don’t usually as it’s more expensive in the spray but it’s high quality avocado oil so works just the same. Thanks for watching!
@@GoodLifeRoad understandable👌
Sorry this is a fail. Steak should have been seasoned and let sit with salt to allow it permeate the meat. You also get a better crust.
Agree that’s a great point. However it was delicious anyway. Thanks for watching!
Undercooked
Cook as long as you like. Thanks for watching!

wow this guy knows not a single thing on how to cook a steak right but none the less cool video and it is a cheap cut yes
