Nothing compares to the electricity that 90s basketball brought. The NBA on NBC on Sundays! I was 5- 6 when we traded for Barkley and went on this run. Maybe I remembering incorrectly, but all of Phoenix was behind this team. After Paxsons 3 and my heartbroken my dad says this is only Barkelys first year. We will be back to the finals again.... Boy was he wrong..
This might be one of the Best team ever without a title in the history of the NBA .

KJ , an all time great playoff performer, uncharachterlistically struggled in the 93 finals.
I can't remember but I'm sure alot of that was due to MJ, not to mention BJ Armstrong was a solid defender as well
@@MrCopperpott yeah I mean the Bulls def had alot to do with KJs struggles in the 93 Finals but I actually think KJ struggled most of the 93 playoffs period. 93 Sonics of Gary Payton and McMillan locked him up too. So Jordan and GP had alot to do with KJs 93 struggles.
@@alecsanderhamilton9224 right but you're talking about two of the greatest defenders of all time. KJ was good but not on that level. I still think Charles made a mistake playing golf and budding up to MJ before the Finals. MJ was playing mental chess even off the court lol
@@MrCopperpott Suns needed a defense to contain Jordan they gave him 41 a game... Tsk tsk tsk... They basically threw Ehlo at him without Daugherty, Nance and Williams behind him. And those three giants weren't enough to stop MJ either. The Suns needed AC Green in 93 not just 94, Chambers and Ceballos and Dumas and a miracle, more than 27 ppg from Barkley, a taller than Oliver Miller center... I mean, it ultimately was really not meant to be wrong series for Phoenix... The only things Phoenix did basically is up the pace of Bulls games but they never showed they had a better team than Chicago head to head.

Craig Ehlo and Brad Daugherty played for the Cavs not the sun's lol also Barkley's stats were better than Malone or Duncan's finals statistics. No one gonna match the goat head to head

@@rcword8795 either way it was Majerle and Ceballos and Chambers before Dumas until Ceballos was hurt and Dumas pleasantly surprised but either way it was Majerle after Barkley and KJ. Chambers could be the 3rd guy easily. Dumas only really played in 92-93. Then he was POOF
