Living in norway, I see and experience these things every day and don't care about it that much. But it is really nice to see how much you appreciate it. Makes me think more highly about the nature and culture we have here

Same where I’m from! I live in Georgia in the US & just in this state alone the north is full of beautiful mountains and greenery (which I prefer) and the south is more like beaches & hot weather (still pretty but not breathtaking- in my opinion lol)

My neighbour country! I was there last summer for work. Very pretty and I love how the major citties are so consumed by the forest, you can really feel that fresh air.
Pizza, beer, candy.. basically everything unhealthy is very expencive in Norway. Healthy food is cheaper tho.

So funny to see this. My grandmother lived in Henningsvær until she died and I live in Sweden so I spent every summer there. I actually saw her old house in the drone footage. I really hope you enjoy Lofoten. It's my second home and I love it. And I always say Rema instead of Rema 1000.

It’s so much fun watching this as a Norwegian. The scene where you showed the stuff in the bag you got for 15 dollars, I laughed hard. Norway is stupidly expensive
The average salary in Norway is greater than elsewhere, so naturally the things you buy would be more expensive to match the average income for maximum profit. Many young Swedes work in Norway for several years as bartenders, waiters or other jobs, simply because they can make more money in Norway than in Sweden, and many Norwegians have a habit of travelling across the border to Sweden to do a ''big buy'', where they purchase alot of meat, alcohol, tobacco, and other grocery related products mostly, because it's cheaper in Sweden than in Norway to buy big bulks.

the most memorable time in my life was in germany, surrounded by a herd of sheep & the shepherders border collie rounding them up & keeping them in their borders & the sheepherder whistling commands to him-it was awesome !!! my german shepherd would have a field day w/them...lol

That football field is pretty famous on the internet. I doubt very many people get to see it in person though. Norway is such a beautiful country! I would love to visit some day.

Norway is so beautiful! So want to go there someday! Have you ever thought about visiting North Korea? If you love the scenery of Norway, then you're going to love North Korea's Mount Paektu. It's the most beautiful volcano in the world!
A lot of us wish we could visit the people and places of North Korea. However, it is very dangerous for an American to go there. No one should take that chance at this time.

Hey, I found a another hiker in norway from America. In general, most of your comments are relatable. Try going to Voss , they got a lot of nice places to hike but they are a little longer and decent views. Nice vids

I went on a hike kinda similar to that in the middle of the night in Alaska. It was still super light out but it wasn’t foggy so we could see pretty well. It was called Hatcher Pass. I totally recommend it if you’re ever in Alaska. Totally Check it out!
It would probably come to about $15 here in Boston too. Raspberries are about $5 a banana $1 Starbucks drink about $2 a bar another $2, etc. So not far off from here. But that’s one pricy burger, looked like a nice fancier place though. I loved this video. Norway looks AMAZING!

I never would have guessed the beer would be so expensive, nor that the hours to purchase would be so strange.
He said the hours wrong... Its until 20:00 on weekdays and 18:00 on saturdays for buying beer in the shops. (some municipalities can have stricter hours) For wine and spirits its 18:00 on weekdays and 15:00 on saturdays. But you need to go to a special government shop to buy that.

You guys should contact some local people and ask them if you can go out fishing with them. The view from the sea is also amazing. And it is one of the best places to fish in all of Norway.

$ 15 for those foods. Yes you bought Norway's most expensive raspberry imported from southern Europe or south america - off season. That's 80% of the price. Norway is actually the world's largest fish exporter of white fish. The stands you see everywhere are 90% for drying fish to, for example, southern Europe - called Baccalao

if you are still in Norway, i HIGLY recommend trying to go Freediving/spear fishing. Trust me there are some amazing spots underwater, especially in Lofoten

I think "Henningsvær Stadion" is something like "Henning's Skerry stadium" or something like that. It would make sense. But then again, this is norwegian we're talking about. It's either that or "Henning's weather stadium" Greetings from Sweden. :P

It looks like such a beautiful country and I love how it looks cold all the time judging by this series. I live in the southwest of USA so cold weather is really rare for us. 😞 Norway has always been on my bucket list and this series has really made me want to go. Also, that’s a lot for $15. Where I shop, that all would be $20-$23. 😂

Great video ! 2 km didn't seem that far, until it was a nearly vertical hike !! Kind of weird for me to see those sheep with tails as well, a lot of countries chop them off when the sheep are young.
Fun fact: Most Norwegians eating a burger at a restaurant like that, eat it with knife and fork. I actually think that is why you struggled eating over the bun, it's probably a bun designed to be cut through.

I know I am 2 years late to comment, but the prices in Norway includes VAT, which is something I know that in the U.S it is excluded/ added as you buy something. And Rema 1000 is a grocery store, just like you guys have Walmart, CVS, Walgreens and Target store.
