Nice car. Thanks for showing. My feelings're a little bit mixed. After the AX24 i hoped on something more innovative. I've to sleep over this. The body's something cool.
IMHO im not buying any more scx24 until they actually update them instead of just another body with the same garbage servo and motor that most of us have been complaining about for years. Both the redcat ascent 18 and the fcx 24 totally kick the crap out of the scx 24 in every way, and there cheaper! Time for an upgrade axial!
I haven't felt this attracted to an RC model for the body in quite a while! 2000's HPI RS4s come to mind beyond Tamiyas. As a GX460 owner, it's quite alluring. For when i do collector car shows in 12 years hahahaha Edit: hold on, it's not an IFS chassis. What a let down?!?! Hahaha
An SCX10 version of this would be a super cool trail truck. I think that’s kind of the route they were going with this SCX24, as it’s an overlandey kind of rig, but I much prefer 1:10 scale for trailing, they just look way more realistic to me. But being a new SCX24 release, I’m not complaining.
I never expected Axial to release a Toyota body, and I'm so happy to see it! For us in EU it's a Toyota Land Cruiser (Prado for Japan), a great truck I'm looking forward to have in my collection
I’ve been looking for a GX 470 body for my SCX24 for a year now now I can get a 24th scale version of my car. I just hope they make a 10th scale body I can buy for my SCX 10-III
Outside of the deadbolt, the entire scx24 line has goofy unrealistic bodies. Just look at the proportions on the trx4m bronco compared to the scx24… they need to shrink their bodies about 10% and everything would be awesome
Thank you for the content. Body looks good but man is the platform tired. I like the looks but the steering angle on these axles is undrivable at this point for me. Thanks for what you do sir.
Happy you like the content. I think what established RC hobbyists need to remember is that not every release is for them. A priority for most manufacturers is getting new people into the hobby. Axial found a growing area of interest in the full-scale world, created an RC product on an established platform and it will attract new people at a reasonable price. From there they can grow in the hobby with the tons of existing parts support for this platform or grow into bigger and better things. Existing hobbyists will know what to do with the model if it truly speaks to them.
@@rcdriver I understand and appreciate the thought in your reply. I am trying not to be a curmudgeon there's enough negativity out there. It does look good definitely and the GX crowd is very strong here in the south.
@@rcdriver Not at all I like thinking outside my bubble and perspective is good. I can appreciate that most release's need to be marketed towards the mass market and done with parts and tools on hand. I do appreciate the bumper and sliders I'm used to having to 3D print that sort of stuff, attention to those details is good to see at this scale.
I really like seeing scale Toyotas in a sea of chevys and fords.
I like the widdle wadder
😂
“It’s not a jeep!”My first thought too. Actually my second thought was to recheck it wasn’t April 1st lol.
They put the battery in front?!?!?!?!? yes finally!!!!!
I like your lime green gladiator more👌

I'm really happy for Axial to break the mold and go beyond Jeeps, Broncos, Chevys, Land Rovers... Way to go Axial!

That thing is sweet!
I love the content you put out, always interesting and some stunning locations. Thank you
Thanks! Great time of year for some RC outdoor adventures!
Agree 💯🍻
Axial, if you release a 10th scale 5th gen 4runner I will order it tomorrow.

Ill get one and take it to Jamboree next year with my gx lmao
Why does NO ONE make a 5th gen 4runner? This is cool, though
I’m big fan of the Lexus suvs I really hope they make a 1/10 scale
Axial, Traxxas, anyone!!! If you're listening, please give us a gx460!! 1/10 would be amaaazing!
Can you tell me what size tires are on there?
The tires look to big imo
And too big.
And so wrong . Big no no lexus brand. They suck in real life and so on rc.
I have a white GX 470, this was an instant buy lol
Cool 👌
1/10 scale would have been perfect
In buying this for my business partner. He just bought and lifted a mint gx470. So cool to see these come out
What state u live inn?
I will definitely be adding at least one to my 1/24 collection
Get a b7 and buy all the r1 upgrade parts
Awesome, also need 1/10 versions
I have a lifted 07 gx470, so excited to get this and get into this hobby
Two really cool trucks 🔥 want that lil toyota (lexus)
They put 42' tyre on it!
Thanks for the vid. I’ll pass. I’m glad folks get some variety, but the internals are getting old, especially with fmsM just released.
I have some problems with my traxxas trx 4 defender someone please reply do I can fix it
If they make a 1/10 scale gx470 I’ll sell my organs to buy it 😂😂

All you need is to upgrade those axles to Mofo rc X15 axles! Then caster will be perfect
Why would it need a interior you can’t even see through those windows 😂😂😂
❤❤❤
Needs to be brushless
GO Anywhere GO AXIAL
Any mini first release is a misfire...
Would of consider it a must if it was a 18th scale 🤦
Surely the jeep guys are saying "not another jeep".😂 A J10 or and old Wagoneer if they cant stop making jeep bodies.
WHy is nobody willing to say that this looks like a Walmart toy? The wheels and tires are absurdly large.
Thumbs down. Tired of rehashed 24 's
I hope they have something better before year end.
Tired of these companies making all there Crawlers way to fast. Just include the low range with the vehicle already!!
Lexus ?? 🤦🏻🤦🏻🤦🏻
Ohhhh sweetie, you aren’t a jeep and neither a range rover yet she is dress up as off road 🤣🤣🤣.
