    Spot on.
Seeing a lot of weird comments about muh narcissism but with no perception of the self-assurance required for personal accomplishment and personal growth.
See a lot of artists/musicians that scream about killing their ego but blank on the fact that their ego is why they felt the right to impose themselves upon their medium to begin with, why they make art.
A man needs an inner bulwark against the projections of others.

Really bad advice man. This promotes narcissistic behavior, a total disregard for empathy and self reflection. Pixar’s Inside Out 2 actually does a better job of showing that you need a balance of how you see yourself and how others see you.

We agree there needs to be a balance, not a complete disregard. Listen to the beginning, and he says “not to crumble at the words of others” as many external opinions stem from projection of internal feelings of themselves

bad advice or not, this video does apply to people who have been bullied or gaslit into believing who they are not. they must come to terms with themselves, fill their own cup, understand who they are at their integrity before they can fill other people’s cups as well.
when you know who you truly are, you begin to understand who others truly are. then you realize we’re truly not that separate.

@@Hidden_Crest Watching it again, I can see the more positive aspect of it. I guess I was just focusing on how the video seemed like it keeps saying to not listen to criticism at all. Now I see that it's actually saying to not yield to the need of other people's approval which is totally different.
Criticism can be helpful and is communicated respectfully. However, not everyone in the world approves of the same thing so it's futile to try to get approval from everyone. I'm sorry I put a dark spin on your video. I'm sure you meant to be positive and I brought in my pessimism. 😓

@@OmniNeon900 no worries brother, I’m sure there was no ill intent. Everything is up for interpretation, and in need of a second look. I’m glad you could see both positive and negative in the video, it provides great feedback 👑

I respectfully disagree. We don't know who we are. Meanwhile, other's advices are usually coming from a place of a collective wisdom of our people. Therefore it is better to conform to those advices. We can do whatever we want, but in the end, miracles or magic do not exist, and the only thing existing in reality is our human bodies and our ability to do something. A value of a person is what he does to and for the society. And what is inside his or her head does not matter at all for as long as he or she does not cause harm to the society.
I don't know who I am and I do not want to take any choices of my own ignorance. I would rather take a common culture advice

Yea, but for them to understand the true meaning behind this video would take more knowledge about themselves so they would truly understand it (idk if my message was clear, I'm not a native english speaker)
