About 15 years ago they had one out with micrometer reading on it I don't know how it works I only seen pictures of it it must not have been too popular because they don't have them today if I can find the picture I have of it I'll post it talk to you later Steve
Framon fra-2d is the machine do not think it is made any more it featured 2 digital micrometers built on to it the machine came out in 2004 never seen one in person though
@@steveslocksmith211steveslo8 Thanks for that info. I'll see if I can find a pic to see how they did it. I might try to add them someday..Thinking about it.... I'd probably go with mechanical dial calipers so I can easily see if I'm .350 or.450 in and the battery won't go dead. might be tricky with all the brass chips.
I own the digital micrometer Framon it's very nice like all framons well built but slower to use then 1200 or other machines. I may do a review on it in the future on my channel.
I wonder how hard it would be to add micrometer dials to a Framon to make things faster
and easier...or maybe they tried that already?
