Most overrated coach in NFL history. Got lucky with Drew Brees & still missed the playoffs 6 times with him. Then he jumps ship the second he was faced with a rebuild. Has made no impact in Denver
Whoa whoa whoa - Caleb has 2 dropped TDs in the end zone with perfect placement. He's gonna start lighting it up once the offense finally gets into a rhythm.
Asking these 2 guys why the rookie QBs haven’t thrown a TD pass yet is comical. These guys aren’t X’s and O’s guys. Not at all. Not even close. They don’t watch film ever. So how tf would they know?? They’re just grasping for things in the dark. Just guessing they have no idea. Whereas if you asked Simms, he would really know why. This is a joke. Listen to these guys. They have no clue. They don’t know any schemes or anything
To piggyback off that, they blame the rookies or the supporting cast, but then for EVERYONE ELSE, they just say, "It's early.", don't you think that's probably a better reason for the rookies not to have thrown a TD, it's earlier for them than anyone else. Just nonsense.
It's just their opinions. They NEED our eyeballs to get paid. The information they provide is strained out of the opinions and provocative statements to keep us listening/ viewing. You're right about Simms, for a retired player, he provides good insider info.
@@grandpoohbah1037 not just for a retired player, for anyone. Bar none Simms is the best. And idk if you’re implying that usually regular talking heads are better than former players, but I gotta say, that players and former players actually know what they’re talking about, versus almost all of these talking heads (Florio, Myles, Cherene, Nick Wright etc.) have no clue. They don’t know any X’s and O’s, don’t study any film. Don’t know anything about scheme or coaching points. Nothing. Former players may be terrible talkers and communicators, like Steve Smith, LaVar Arrington, Greg Jennings, there are a lot of them. But of course they’re gonna know more than the usual talking heads
@buddysteele7624 I agree former players bring more information on playing and their networks with players, coaches, owners, etc., bring a good perspective for viewers/ listeners. The NFL is more than that. I love Florio's reporting on NFL legal issues, not players' legal troubles. I'm a huge Chris Simms fan. I like his personality and his honesty.
@@DoLessMyGuy they added some players his rookie year but nothing crazy. Tank was a third rounder. Nobody thought anything of Nico in his first two years. Singletarty is a journeyman ( this year they added significant talent )
Don't forget to add the Bears to the list of teams that will ruin a young QB. Trubisky, Fields and as of now Williams doesn't look good playing for that team.
1) Chicago pulled a Giants and spent a ton on receivers despite their poor O-line, and they made the mistake of firing OC Luke Getsy and bringing in Shane Waldron, plus USC QBs rarely work out. 2) Washington has a lousy O-line and it's a questionable organization in general 3) The Broncos have no O-line, receivers or running backs. Why did they trade away Jerry Jeudy, Samaje Perine and Tim Patrick?
Agree for the most part on Chicago, they neglected their line and Caleb is still learning what throws he can make in the NFL vs College. Washington O-line hasn't been lousy, not sure if you've watched any of their two games but they've been passable. Didn't punt once vs NY and Bucs looking like a top 5 team in the league. Also the statement about the organization is just false now, Snyder and pretty much everyone he brought in is completely gone. Denver should be better than they have shown and Nix shouldn't look the way he does with all that college experience. Wasn't his thing that he was extremely accurate? Agree on o-line but Nix needs to help them out.
Mike Florio owes the Panthers an apology. With a garbage take, that the Panthers ruined Young's career, and incoming rookies have leverage to say they won't play there. Young , just like so many of these rookies are no where ready for the NFL. You guys LOVE propping these qbs, because of the intrigue of seeing them play early. Andy Dalton has already proven that the plays were there, these young qbs are just so overwhelmed and ill-prepared for this league.
As a Panthers fan who has been behind Bryce since he was drafted...I check last year's stats to see what Andy can do different? Bryce Young 2023 Averages 315/527 (59.8%) and avg 5.5 yds per pass 73.7 rating 179.8 yards per game (16 games) Andy Dalton 2023 Averages 34/58 (58.6%) and avg 6.2 yds per pass 88.4 rating 361 yards per game (1 game) These stats are with the same offensive players...Andy can't do much worse...
This new guy is so boring. And he is so ignorant on everything. He thinks he knows better than Simms on evaluating QBs?? That’s laughable. He doesn’t know anything clearly. The same arrogant entitlement that Florio has. Put no work in, watch no film, never have played or know any schemes or plays, and still just assume you know what’s what over others who do have all that experience and knowledge. Such a joke
Is it possible Sean Payton is overrated?
Most overrated coach in NFL history. Got lucky with Drew Brees & still missed the playoffs 6 times with him. Then he jumps ship the second he was faced with a rebuild. Has made no impact in Denver
Very possible! What’s he done without Brees?!?
Yes
1000%
Here here
2 high safeties, that is why passing numbers are down and rushing number are up. It is also why spread offense rookie QB's are struggling.
What if Caleb is Bryce 2.0
High quality content guys. Keep it up.
Michael is the man!
😂😂 really? Caleb doesn’t have a strong cast around him? Remember a month ago? He was going to the best team for any number 1 pick in nfl history…
Watch the games. He’s running for his life because the Oline misses blocks every single play.
Im really glad Panthers have taken the place of my Browns as football purgatory
Whoa whoa whoa - Caleb has 2 dropped TDs in the end zone with perfect placement. He's gonna start lighting it up once the offense finally gets into a rhythm.
That's why dude said "supporting cast". Bears offense is over rated and Caleb is running for his life
Brilliant analysis… they don’t suck it’s the other players
Love Micheal Holley!

This video is not about the Chiefs, but it is. Florio was digging deep, for Bo Nix, to be the slayer of the Chiefs.😊
Same things said about the Panthers ownership were said about the Texans ownership. If you're an elite qb you bring up the whole franchise.
the texans added more than just a new qb
@@DoLessMyGuy they added some players his rookie year but nothing crazy. Tank was a third rounder. Nobody thought anything of Nico in his first two years. Singletarty is a journeyman ( this year they added significant talent )
it starts with ownership and management. texans cleaned house with caserio and demeco. cal mcnair also started to wise up.
so few passing yards because now teams start out at the 25 or 30 yard lines, what did they expect shortening the field?

I mean last year stroud had 2nd and 3rd stringers on the O line in the beginning of the year
man pft woth chris is just diffrent
Mike! Where's Simms?? Why isn't he on any more??
This years rookie class is what we thought they were....
Caleb Williams should have 2 TDs. Two receivers dropped two separate passes in the endzone!
If's and But's
Is the balance game coming back?

Owners will get together and never draft those players... that can happen too you know.... ask Kapernick
Oh so y'all's advice counts but Cjs is misplaced 😂😂😂😂😂
Is Chris no longer a regular on this show? Not that I think that's a bad thing.
I think he cut back his appearances on the show to only like 2 days a week.
Don't try and save Caleb Williams but Down JD smh "even tho he has Dj Moore" that's an excuse when Dj Moore is actually good!
2:43 so who was Russ throwing too?🐻⬇️
To be fair caleb threw 2 and both where dropped sooo...
Sit out, and re-enter the draft next year....as if the Panthers will be better next year and not have a top pick?
Bring Simms back this clown doesn’t know football saying Caleb doesn’t have a good support cast lol

Texans SWARM GO TEXANS
YALL NEED TO HOLD THESE ROOKIES ACCOUNTABLE STOP BLAMING THE TEAM WHEN IT'S THE QB

Caleb has had 2 TD passes dropped so there's that.
Caleb Williams bust!
Teams need to stop starting rookies
I’ve never heard of this bad of a narrow minded opinions like this before.
Michael H you are so bad
These new hosts are garbage outside of Devin
