    You’ve quickly become one of my favorites to watch as a young triple jumper and I love your content. I’m at 41ft as my PR as a sophomore and I had a question on how you keep your upper body posture and about your active striking. Can you explain those to me?. Thanks man keep up the work.

      I was jumping 41ft sophomore year too hahaha, as for keeping upper body posture tall, that's something you're going to have to fix with constant practice. You have to be aware of it at practice till it's automatic.Keeping your core strong and hips locked in the right position can help. However, you have to build an awareness of it by practice and repetition. Remind yourself to "Keep torso tall" every rep at practice till it's automatic. As for active striking on the ground, keep your toes dorsiflexed that usually helps. Hopefully this was helpful, lemme know

    I look forward to watching your vids! Any tips on how to fix a plain approach and add speed/momentum?

      Start with strong powerful pushes then progressively turn over as you get to the board, most people usually rush the drive phase or don't even have one. But yeah pushes from the start helps with that

    As a jumper do you lot of long distance sprinting workout like 200,400, 800 or do you just do short distance sprints. I don’t know how to describe it hopefully that makes sense

      Jumpers should train like sprinters, speed is definitely an important factor on the runway for jumpers. I used to be a distance runner, when i started jumping I had zero speed or turnover. Definitely train for speed as a jumper, short sprint drills to develop speed is definitely key focus. You can once in a while do the longer distances just to stay in shape, but speed and sprints should definitely be the focus. Hope this helps
