this is EASILY the best moths album to date its so fucking impressive how they blow it out of the water every single time. For those who dont know theres a bonus track on the vinyl called "soul exchange"
@@crewd00d I honestly wasn’t a fan of the new Dealer but Boundaries and Knocked Loose were both really good. Imminence, Like Moths To Flames, and Erra still top those two for me personally
I loved LMTF with their last album... then saw them live when touring with TDWP and Landmvrks... and they just proved they are literally top of the metalcore. The perfection of music, the presence on stage, the vocals...
Every song is one giant chaotic breakdown, yet none feel like a giant chaotic breakdown. I wish the vocals were a little more forward in the mix. At least in the digital version they’re drowned out, but other than that it’s an amazing album.
Not sure why but it’s always been this way for them. Been listening to them since like 2012. No one ever talks about my boys and everything they write is a banger. Every time they perform it’s amazing.
Well it does have to compete with alpha wolf, boundaries, imminence, avralize. Even greyscale season and too close to touch are on the level of anything made last year
Yeah you are right, LMTF has always work with really easy and catchy structures and with this all new direction it’s instruments everywhere so yea I guess it’s more hard to catch the songs, but trust me when you keep listening you fall more in love. Btw I saw your reaction to Kintsugi on twitch and I was like “how he didn’t love it” but now I’m glad that you like it 😆🔥
I loved this album from the first listen. Individually, all of the songs are fantastic, with To Know is to Die and What Do We See When We Leave This Place? being may favorites, but I also felt that the structure of the album was very strong too. It made a much stronger impression on me than The Black as an album, which was likely due to the fact that there were only 3 new non-instrumental songs on that album, compared to the 7 new songs here, and I think that pushes it slightly past Imminence for AoTY for me. CURE is a very close contender as well, but I think this again, edges it out. From the moment this album was announced, I was counting down the days until it released. It absolutely did not disappoint.
Been following LMTF since their first album and have never been disappointed. This album just blew me away, it's been on repeat since Friday and will keep gstting looped for some time now. I didn't think they could top No Eternity In Gold and man did they smash it out of the park.
Never even heard of this band until I saw your video. Now its probably my second fav album of the year (after boundaries) and its on repeat all day while writing my thesis! Thanks bogdan for providing some quality music to my ears
This album blew me away honestly, new fan to this band and was just totally captivated by the sound and the lyrics. The lyrics are so friggin dark when you read through them🤣 kintsugi is my song of the year so far, that chorus is phenomenal
I love this album, personally the only gripe I have was the fact that Spiritual Eclipse on their last album No Eternity In Gold was a much stronger closer, overall I'd give this album an 8.5/10, definitely up there for albums this year
They were was on European tour where The devil wear prada and Like moth to flames opening for Landmvrs in Denmark last week. Oh boyyyy these LMTF should have been main band. The hell they created. the power, all mosh-pits were insane.. I wish they been main band to play for the night 🤘🏻❤🔥 this album shows how underrated they are . Constantly growing and improving their sound 🫡
LMTF is the most consistent band in the genre. Releasing nothing but fire since their first EP in 2010. Each release after just gets better and better. Every year is the Year of the Moth.
They just keep getting more progressive, after trying some really different stuff in their EP they just went all out with the craziness in this one, such a dynamic album what a freaking masterpiece.
goddamit, i was expecting bangers but not like this... the chorus on "what do we see when we leave this place?" makes me tear up everytime. Incredible album on all ends.
By far my favorite album since Heavener, which is my favorite album of all-time. I really enjoyed Imminence’s new album, but this is 100% AOTY for me. IA and LMTF are my kind of music. Ambient metalcore, phenomenal riffs, insane drumming, and destructive breakdowns with heavenly choruses. Don’t sleep on these guys. Give them more recognition! I love the album cover as well. Might have to order that wall flag!
Personally, I've listened to this album probably 15-20 times since it was released already. LMTF is my favorite metalcore band of all time. I think this is their best album of all time. Every song is excellent. I think to build on your criticism of calling this album "very level" is that it really needed some stand-out moments. It has some great moments, but im talking about a huge caveman breakdown in one of the songs. I'd say at the end of Dissociative Being. I would also love if they really amplified the bass drops on some of their breakdowns, like in the older stuff such as GNF or The Worst In Me. Lastly, I think if they gave some space to some of the instrumentals and let them shine. I keep comparing this album to Boundaries new album, and the things that make me come back to that album are its specific moments. The space they give to the second chorus of Easily Erased. The space they gave to the guitar section in Death is a Little More. These moments are memorable and impactful. LMTF has all the talent, skill, and one of the best vocalists in the game. They can do all the technicality that is praised these days, the stuff that Boundaries did. They are just missing those huge, powerful moments in this album that make you go "I want to listen to that 50 more times." Again, this album is 2nd for AOTY for me, but I think they were incredibly close to taking that top spot.
Saw the boys live few weeks ago together with Landmvrks, The Devil Wears Prada and Guilt Trip and they were all insane live. Probably the best show I've went to, ngl. The album definitely satisfied me.
Lyrically itd so easy to relate to this album. You could tell Chris was going through some shit and really laid it out on the album. Deep and heavy album but definitely one of their best.
Love this album! Saw them live (finally after 8 years of waiting for them to get back to europe) with landmvrks and they were incredible! Record is easily 9/10 for me
LMTF is probably the most consistent high quality band out there and I will die on that hill. These boys have made some of my most played music since I was 13 years old. This is my AOTY no hesitation.
No idea why peops be sleepin' on LMTF, an amazing band that's been around what, 15 years? They deserve way more praise that they get. Last album's Habitual Decline has to be my favourite single! It's their mix, it's how it all sounds together, everything is so crisp and tight if you get what I mean!
Another LMTF album that everyone will sleep on. When is the world going to stop underrating these dudes? Been putting out absolute HEAT for over a decade.
Not sure if I need to give it another listen. But not much a fan of this album. 2 singles were good. But the rest of songs on the were pretty weak of im being honest. 6/10 for me. I wouldn't even consider this on par with dark divine. As it had me on first listen. That's just me though. Edit: This album actually grew on me lmao solid 8.5/10. Maybe even a 9. Its actually really good and the riffs and breakdowns are badass. The drumming is superb as well. The screams are somehow even better on this. Just so much emotion in his voice. Though is wish he added more cleans that sounded more like dark devine
Damn so many amazing albums in 2024, we eat good this year
I still need that Loathe album tho
Supposedly we are getting new Killswitch Engage, a project involving Howard Jones and Adam D, new Spiritbox, and Better Lovers this year too.
Real
yeah thats what im saying and we're barely at half the year
Yeah This Year and 2023 is INSANE 🤘🔥
Bro, your reaction to “Over the garden wall” was the same as mine 😂 easily my favorite off the album right next to “The Depths I Roam”
YEEEEES!!!!
Over the garden wall is fireeeee

Any specific vinyl? Because I do not see it in tracklists next to the products.
Oh fuck my vinyl is supposed to come in the mail today!!
They just released it on Apple Music!
Thank you for this! I LOVED this album so much! I’ve been a fan of this band for over a decade. I wished they got the recognition they deserve!
This might top Imminence for my AOTY. Absolutely fantastic album
Gonna be hard when Knocked Loose and Dealer both dropped on the same day. And that Boundaries album.
@@crewd00d I honestly wasn’t a fan of the new Dealer but Boundaries and Knocked Loose were both really good. Imminence, Like Moths To Flames, and Erra still top those two for me personally
Alpha wolf released the best so far imo

I’ve been to a lot of concerts and one thing i will say is that LMTF is one of the best live acts out there in any genre
I've seen them also with Landmvrks and TDWP. Their set only lasted 20 minutes, I was super disappointed :(
This album is gonna be a diamond in the rough for this year cause NO ONE is talking about it
I'm screaming about it 🖤

So yeah, I can barely discuss with him such masterpiece of a release

I never really gave LMTF a listen until the singles came out for this album and good god I've been missing out
The moth piths are going to be cwazy
Next Weekend in Cologne, Im ready to die
@@majoracsyeessss, Im there too, i remember buying the cards only because of lmtf and tdwp, didn’t know landmvrks back then but now i love them
Why did I laugh out loud? 😅

I literally haven't listened to anything other than this record since it dropped. Haven't even gotten around to the new Knocked Loose record xD
Top 3 bands now from Current/Thornhill/Loathe to Invent,Animate/Like Moths To Flames/Loathe

Garden Wall is my tune of year so far and was happy to see you drop it a heart.
Their best work! Chris is a monster, and the instrumentals are top tier. Just quality across the board here.
I’m glad you brought up Dark Divine is phenomenal, I’ve been a huge fan Chris since Emarosa and Agraceful so LMTF was always fun for me!

Vibes and ambience amazing.
The instrumen play around in ear.
Very wholesome

Eye for an eye is what got me into them. Saw the artwork at best buy and was like I'll try it. ❤❤❤
Out of the 3 albums that dropped this was definitely the best one.
