Good morning, y'all!! 👋 This background music is jammin! 🎶 🎵 😃 It's so interesting to hear about so many different varieties - not only of watermelon - but of all of the different plants. Most of them I've never heard of before, so thank y'all so much for everything that you educate us on! Such a beautiful harvest!! 😍 🍉 I almost purchased a "Meyer Lemon" tree for half price yesterday because I found out that I can leave it in the same container and bring it inside over the winter, but I saw something that I needed to ask you guys about before getting it. Is it normal for there to be yellow spotting on the leaves? Or should I assume that the plants are diseased? Also, what app do you use to edit videos? I somewhat recorded a garden center walk-through yesterday, but I know I'm going to need to slow it down because I was walking somewhat fast to avoid attracting attention to myself, and was pretending to be talking on the phone so I may also need to do a voice-over or play some music or something. 🤔 💭 Thanks in advance for any information that you may be able to help me with! Hey Soilsista as far as the lemon tree goes it dont necessary have a diese. The plant could not be taken care of and since it dont look its best its cheaper. I use movie editing but dont know whats better just what im use to. Thanks for watching

Hey SoilFam! I enjoyed watching y'all taste test the watermelons! Entertained by the facial expressions Sherrie had realizing that the rainwater made 2 of the varieties sus.🤣Well, at least the pigs would love 'em. A I admire that whatever you grow and doesnt go as expected never goes to waste!Question - Is the Golden a cross breeded /hybrid melon? It looks like a regular watermelon crossed with a honeydew or a Canary melon. I can't wait to see the other melons turn out. I wish y'all the best life, love, health and harvest!

Omg!!! Sherrie we both had the same look when trying the Strawberry watermelon. I forgot what variety I grew, but it was awful!!! The curly cue was dry and the melon was easy to pop of the vine. Yet it was AWFUL! The hens loved it though. But my facial reaction was exactly like yours. 🤣🤣 I chuckled so hard.

Fantastic that you were able to grow alk those varieties. My melons did not germinate. I will be buying my melons this year. I will be looking for Orange Glow seeds.

Great video. You must have gotten excited on Baker Creek's seeds like I did several years ago, LOL. I have found that every year a different variety comes out tops. Leeanau Sweetglo has been my most consistent orange meat melon. I grow it now over the Orangelo. Ali Baba and Charleston grey compete every year for best red. Your Royal Golden's are the same size as mine. I have never gotten to eat a Moon & Stars or a Royal Golden when it had not been raining too much so the jury is still out on them for me.

The white seeds are really just the casting for a seed that didn't grow to maturity. They're blanks ain't nothing coming from it😅😅

The orange seeds are from Baker Creek... Yellow flesh from Lowe's 🍉

My watermelon were sweet, but very small, I think they put the wrong seeds in the package, I will try again next year, at least we are all trying and learning
This is one thing whensize does not matter! Small but might is a good thing,🙌🏾
My vines are loaded with blooms, just hope the groundhogs don't eat them. I can't wait to Grow my own.
