    It’s a toss up between France and Spain for me but you seem to get more for your money in France, thanks for the video.

      You are welcome, yes I do think you get more for your money, it all depends on what you want from your new house and its surroundings, why not email me with those thoughts and maybe I can help bower@immoboulevard.com

      Same here, I was planning on returning to Spain where I lived for 4 years, but France is getting my attention

      I see a lot of people moving both ways at present, we looked at Spain when we first started thinking about moving abroad; but decided we preferred more green. I am sure some parts of Spain fit that description; but we never found them and fell in love with the countryside in the Vienne and Haute Vienne of France.

      For me it would be France. I’ve visited Marseille and live in Quebec. I’m of British grandparents. And have been to England. But France is special especially the small villages. I grew up near a small village n Wirbec and I speak French very well so it’d be easy for me. Cheers from Montreal Quebec Canada 🇨🇦

    Beautiful, lovely character, love these style of houses. Shame I'm not at retirement age just yet, as the wife & myself with our 2 cats, would defiantly put an offer in.

    Do you think it is possible to change the first bedroom into a decent size full bathroom? and I will convert the dinning room into a bedroom, it would be much better.

    • @propertysalesinfrance
      @propertysalesinfrance  Год назад

      Anything is possible, but it would be better to be the second bedroom as that is directly over the downstairs bathroom, that would be much easier to accomodate.

    • @Sommerchan
      @Sommerchan Год назад +1

      By the second bedroom do you mean the one on top with the lady dresses? I hop not I like that bedroom. Also what is the nearest airport to fly in from Athens, Greece? Merci

    • @propertysalesinfrance
      @propertysalesinfrance  Год назад

      Yes I did mean that one, you can reconfigure houses whichever way you want but the easiest way is with that bedroom. For an airport I would suggest Bordeaux, I note that Athens airport has a flight to there today so assume that will be the closest at around 3 /4 hours from the house.

      Good morning, yes it is still available, the house is in a small hamlet around 2km from the village which has schools. For a train Le Dorat is around 12 minutes away or Bellac and Montmorillon 15 minutes. This is a link to all the information propertysalesinfrance.com/property/CB13222

    How do I retire to France? I am a retiree, how easy would it be to retire and move to France?🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🇬🇧

    • @propertysalesinfrance
      @propertysalesinfrance  Год назад +1

      It is not very complicated, if you go to the UK Government website they show you how to get a visa and retire to France, much easier when retired than if you want to work whilst here. There are many forums on the subject, but my best advice is to go the that website. I have many people who buy from me who do so and I can put them in touch with people to help once in France, who do not charge the earth!

      My brother retired to France, his UK state pension is paid into his French bank account [without the UK tax being added] and so does his UK winter fuel allowance and P.I.P. disability allowance. Any medical treatment he requires is billed to and paid for by the NHS. He paid into the system all his 55 years working life and is still entitled to it where ever he lives in Europe. His ex [who is French] lives in the UK and gets the same benefits here. Brexit changed nothing on that score. I am also retiring to France soon as my pension goes a lot further there.

      @propertysalesinfrance  Год назад +1

      Thank you Sindy, it is always good to hear from people who have personal experience of the systems and I thank you very much for contributing. All the very best in your eventual move to France.

      Thank you for your comment, it is just as easy now to buy a home in France as it was before Brexit. If you want to live in France full time it is not an over complicated thing to do. I know of many advisers in my area who do not charge the earth to help you in the process.
