Greeting from Australia Victor! The Mrs. and I are big fans of yours. We've followed your channel for years now and we are so happy you moved back to Lotto. This video was awesome! Good luck for the season and we hope you have lots of success in your races.
Seems like lotto gave you some more things to make this video or have somebody filming, noticed the quality is a lot better. Also do i believe that it’s a great idea that loto does this I became a big fan when you started to make the vlogs and then even more when I saw the attacks when you started doing classics. Now I am really looking forward to see lotto Soudal in the classics. Thanks for giving us insight to your life as a pro!
Nice video, one quick note if you come out to Colorado you can find climbs that start at altitude and give you enough road to do a full hour at altitude
Me gustó todo lo que compartis, ya me suscribi. Sos un crack, los carrerones que estas haciendo en el inicio de temporada son dignos de admirar! Saludos Vic!
carb the fuck up, the truth of cycling haha. Glad to see how victor shines lights on nutrition on the ride - 60g/hr on the bike even for just a 2 hour easy ride. 100g/hr+ for those hard rides!
Nice insight. But so nerve-racking, 6:23 that a teammate just spits out the top of the gel package out into nature. It is just so disgraceful man! I'm a cyclist myself and always tuck the packaging away so I can return it to the dust bin at home. I seriously get pissed off about it as I see a lot of this waste on bike routes all the time. Seriously it ain't hard to tuck the packaging away 😤 and later deposit in a dust bin even for pro cyclists.
A lot of high level athletes nowadays consume those numbers of carbs/hour even during low intensity trainings and shorter rides. Most often on easier days they will adjust food off the bike rather than on the bike.
@@woutdevylder That is the biggest problem for amateur cyclists I would say me as well and that is consuming not enough carbs on the bike and eating too much food off the bike. Especially too much fats.. I don't even understand why most people eat really fatty cakes on coffee rides all the time.. It's just dietary fat that is stored as body fat.. 🙂
he drinks 3 bottles of iso and 4 gels with a easy ride i ride last week 5.45 hours on 3.8 watt kg on one bottle of iso an 2 snelle jelles a ginger bread in the dutch

I find it impossible to understand why you never wear glasses???? I dont like too much light in my eyes, I hate the sun in my eyes, and i lost count how many times insects big and small and stones have hit my glasses, its a big safety feature too!! My eyes would be destroyed 10 minutes without glasses!

I do believe OTE had some extra budget ;)
Je ziet er superscherp uit. Gooit een brood naar u en het komt gesneden terug. Good luck victor. Goe bezig👍🏻💪🏻
Loved the video. Good luck for the up coming season. Keep the videos coming. :)
So interesting to have an insight into your training, brilliant video Victor.
Actually insane production quality Victor.
can't wait t see u racing in 2022!
I would be staying well away from group 1 in the morning!
Very good to see you back with your Lotto team. Wish you well for this season. Seeming very relaxed and at home!

Always love to hear your insights, great video!
6:23 I think all gel companies should do the thing that cliff bar does so riders don’t liter by spitting out part of the wrapper
Very nice quality, looking good back in Lotto
Can you please do a full bike review with weighing the bike
yeah and a hub sound test :)
It's lait and airo. What else you need to know :)

I've just bought a Ridley and now looking at DT Swiss rims.
Great TEAM!! good luck for 2022 season
It's like you were lost in the wilderness, and now you've made your way home. Lotto Soudal is where you belong, and this year is going to be great!
Excellent Vlog Victor. That Hour Record is yours for some time yet!!!
Is it better to eat during the ride or to take gel's on training?

Great Vlog 👍
Holy shit I hope this will be regular content!
Is there a reason why your bike is equiped with an Ultegra crank? Or do you just use these for training?
No holes in the legwarmers anymore?
Veel success in de klassiekers!!
These videos are great
Great video Victor!
On the hour record video, may I ask why do you spit out the Redbull before the ride? I got curious about it.
Ultegra crankset because it's a training bike ? Because lack of parts ? Or because the team isn't sponsored by Shimano ?
If they weren't sponsored by Shimano I think they would ride Campagnolo or different brand's groupset. Probably because it is training bike.
Very nice, succes in "22 Victor.
What a quality improve!
Super video Victor! Blijven gaan!
Carb the f%ck up 🙌😂
I know we shouldn’t compare ourselves to pro riders but interested to see what TSS you do per session etc

No more Campa?
Enjoyed that
Vic, I think I never see you with sunglasses? Is there a reason?
So you never train on empty stomach or during some "low carb" period to "train your body burn fat" like some riders do? Always pounding carbs? 🙂

Victor probably burns upwards of 800 kcal/hour on easy rides. So if he replenishes 240kcal there is still much room for fat burning
does anyone know the backlights victor showed?
i think it's garmin varia rtl516
If you could put the French translation for the next videos that would be great
