    670 for 2 minutes :o My 1 min max is only about 600. Can't imagine how it must feel to do that for another minute. The pro's watts will never cease to amaze me.
    I am pretty ass on a bike though with an ftp of only around 260w.

    "We ride 4 w/kg which is an easy pace for a pro rider" Yeah, most of amaterus would dream having an FTP of 4 w/kg, let alone that be their zone 2.

    this man eats 120 grams per hour i did 6.5 hours today on 120 gram of carbs total 😅😅

    • @marcelsow5817
      @marcelsow5817 Год назад +1

      Was it 6.5 hours “…just under 4 w/kg, which is kind of easy for pros”? 😂😢 4w/kg is what I’d do the 3x2 intervals at…geez

    • @YannickLB
      @YannickLB Год назад +4

      That's just dumb. 480 kcals in 6.5 hours. Nice way to destroy your body and get overtrained, undereating 4000 kcals.

    • @marcelsow5817
      @marcelsow5817 Год назад +2

      @@YannickLB was it a low intensity ride? Is the rider on a Keto lifestyle? What was his carb / cal burn per hour based on his riding? How experienced is the rider? Even pros train early on to have their bodies use fat resources for long low intensity rides during the off-season. They may take no more than 40g per hour of carbs on some rides. It’s all facts and circumstances based.

    • @YannickLB
      @YannickLB Год назад +1

      @@marcelsow5817 There's no intensity in wich 480 kcals is enough for that duration. Even sitting still at home burns more than that for most people.
      Keto Lifestyle and still eating 120 grams of carbs? Also: why would you want to make progress AND not eat enough carbs? It litterally contradicts itself.
      More experienced riders can get away with less carbs on a non-race day. But 40 carbs as a pro is a case of a more experienced rider still getting in more than 120 carbs in 6,5 hours. It would last them 3 hours to be exact. And that's already pushing the limits of fatmax training.
