Nice video, As a retired climber and guide I love seeing people up in with nature. In the High Sierra of California the explorers would transport Fry ( very young fish) to all the likes in the high back country. It's nice to have dinner when you need it. As we all know fish don't fly but they are called Fry when there baby's. I will be heading to Mexico in March for a extended travel trip and Toluca is on my list. Cheers...
Thanks for your comment, because yeah you are right, this place has many sites of offerings including in the lakes themselves. And it has a waaaaaay longer history before this German guy arrived. Let me rephrase this part: This specific route that we were walking to the peak was documented by a German explorer who conducted multiple tests on this peak and other peaks around Mexico to measure what their altitudes were.
In 2002 I and another attempted to climb the mountain. My friend found a taxi to take us up however the taxi driver wanted to dump us at the bottom and wanted his money. We refused to pay him and he took us up but was mad about it. We were planning to stay at the hut but it was closed, leaving us with no way to return to Toluca We saw a couple of large buses come up, they were on a school outing, they gave us a ride all the way back to Mexico City. Made it just to the lagoons Want to go back
like Hikaholics:said could be evolution or the way . all living things were created including, man.. cause i dont think people will bring live fish to 4,5oo meters about sea level .. good thinking hikaholics
How do fish get in a lake that is 4,500 meters high?
Evolution! Or brought by people
I believe they were introduced into the lakes.
Great video! Thank You!!

You obviously don't understand English or didn't understand what she said, she said it was discovered by a German Explorer lol

Oh nooo, well at least you saw some of it and were able to make it back down! Definitely worth visiting again if you want to hike up higher! :)

Haha yes very good point! It would be a bit strange seeing people walk up a mountain with fish to put in a lake haha
