Watching this while breastfeeding as a first time mom. Breastfeeding was SO difficult at first, I almost gave up and I was an under supplier for weeks. But I’m so glad I didn’t give up and now love it as a bonding experience with my daughter, I know it’s not for every mom and that’s ok because fed is best.
@@KatieKemna I’m on 5 months as well. My first baby. My supply has been very up and down and I’ve been pumping every 2.5 hours since birth. It’s tiring especially in the middle of the night sometimes I sleep through my timer. But I see what it’s doing to my baby and I’m so grateful
@@ChelseaDale yea I can’t do every 2.5hrs. Is exhausting. Mom if you are not leaking, take a break, you don’t have to pump that often. Take care and you doing wonderful. Loads of love ❤️

Lol i know that sounds crazy but it will pass 💚
@ yeah in the beginning I was exclusively breast-feeding from the breast, but he started having latching issues. I think the flow was wrong. Now he lashes on, but for about 10 minutes total.
Hang in there Mama! I worked three 24 shifts per week and pumped every 3 hours while at work and breastfed exclusively while at home. I did this for my first 2 kids until 13 months and now prepping to do the same for the 3rd. It’s exhausting, but I have found that when you are patient with the process and know that this is the norm for everyone, it will be easier to get through it. There is an end in sight and you’ll be so happy that you stuck with it.❤
I’m on month 11 of breastfeeding and my baby has never been even slightly sick! He’s big and strong and healthy and I plan on continuing to offer it to him as long as possible!
I breastfeed my second-born daughter for 22 months. I considered doing it up until she was 2 years old, but I stopped because my supply started to dip when I got pregnant. My goal was 21 months, so I am happy with the duration. On the contrary, my firstborn son was only breastfed until he was 6 weeks. Family members pressured me to supplement with formula to make sure the baby was getting enough, which I gave in and eventually led to my supply drying up and me giving up because of the stress.
Breastfed My baby for 9 months, not being able to separate from him much because he would not take a bottle it was soo tiring but such a great bonding experience 🥺🙏🏾
My baby couldn't nurse, so I exclusively pumped for her for a year. Any milk she didn't finish in her bottle in time my husband would drink, at first because he was curious to try it and I didn't want the leftover milk to be wasted, but then he noticed it actually significantly helped his IBS and SIBO so he kept drinking it. My BIL was diagnosed with a severe form of ulcerative colitis and my husband tried to convince him to try breast milk, but BIL couldn't get over the gross factor.
Thank you for recognizing many moms, myself included, may not have a choice and may need to stop before they were ready. My son had severe oral ties that were missed until 6 months.
