- In part 1 Pretty Boy talked about living on the eastside of South Los Angeles on 76th Street and Wadsworth next to Raymond Washington's home, but during the early 1970s he moved to the Westside with his mother on 67th Street just west of Western Avenue. This area eventually became Rollin 60s Crips during the 1970s and Pretty Boy got involved with that gang when he was in the 7th Grade at Horace Mann Junior High School.

I can tell you a story of Jimel. that I got from a 2nd party (someone who was there). Years ago (I think in late 80's) Jimel came down to the Ten Goose boxing gym and wanted some work, but they wouldn't let him (boxers usually don't get in the ring until 6-12 weeks of training) He had Jerry Buss who he worked for call the gym and vouge for him so Jimel went down and talked mad shit, I was told (again by someone who was there) they put Jimel in a guy much smaller and Jimel got his wig split.
This is not to indicate Jimel couldn't fight...but fighting a boxer is a whole different game.

Damn, i remember that store. I went to Horace Mann from '86 til the beginning of of the 9th grade. I moved back to the Bottoms but tried catching the bus every morning to school...the 55 to Florence and the Florence bus to Western. That lasted for about 2 weeks. Then i checked into Carver. The 60's and 8 Tray's usta go at it ! I remember a TA who worked there had like 3 sons from 8 Tray and their name was known (last name) ! There was a couple of times when it seemed like the whole school was crackin'...ppl running everywhere ! The 80's...

Yep I lived 3 houses down from Pretty Boy on the North corner of St Andrews across the street from the pink house on corner same side of the street as Pretty boy. I moved out the neighborhood in 1982 and then up North in 1986 My mom and family continued to lived there until my mom passed in 2013 then I sold the house in 2016. Darryl Colston and his family was family lived right around the corner on 68th 2nd house from the corner. The neighborhood was pretty quite you'd never know all the gang activity going on unless you were involved

And due to the fact that he was locked up for almost 32 years I've never really known the truth behind his case, only that he was farmed.
