    When I bought my P1S (with AMS) I got a spool of their green and orange PLA Basic for free, more or less. They ran great. Use it to make a big dual-color poop-chute for the rear of the printer. I also got a spool of PLA Basic in black. It also ran thru and printed fantastic! However, fast-forward by 2 months. I re-ordered 2 spool-less refills for the black, and after using it for ~3 days I was sick of it because it just had issue after issue, even after drying it multiple times. I didn't wanna contact support cus it feels like they always try to blame you for the issues and just give you the run-around. I'll stick to my 3 favorites - Duramic3D, eSun, and Sunlu.

    I can tell this is your 1st time using BL spools. You need to load your spools first and then just sync from AMS in BS when using Bambu rolls. The RFID tag in the spool will load the appropriate color, type, and remaining filament from the tags.

    • @nakleh
      @nakleh Месяц назад +1

      It would be great if the "remaining" filament was measured in grams. Since it's not I have to weigh each spool if I think it may not be enough to complete a print.

    Tricks:
    Keep speed down for BL Silk - they have specific tips on the web but for best results calibrate in Orca.
    This should fix your CF too.
    For best top result print the nameplate face down!
    Eryone does a nice Galaxy filament.
    Vac bags - don't waste money on eSun bags, Chinese clones work better and can be bigger, so easier to get the spool in/out. No 1 tip for them is to run your finger round the valve after sealing as air bubbles can get trapped under there and leak air in. You can see when you have squeezed it out and it holds the seal much longer.
    Sync from the AMS. On the X1 you can set the manufacturer in the AMS page of the display and it will be remembered.

    Printing with carbon fiber filament, you need to go slow, super slow. At least that has worked for me when printing carbon fiber ASA material. Not sure if anyone has said it in the comments. But when printing with anything with sparkle, I suggest to use a hard steel nozzle. The sparkle can take a toll on your brass nozzles. Just my two cents. I have done a lot of printing with sparkle and carbon fiber, so i just leave the steel nozzles in my machine now. They last longer. Great video and keep up the great work.

    I got black PLA CF with my Bambu, I didn't realize I needed to dry it first and that I needed to change out the print head. How did you know. you needed to change out your head and cutter etc, to print the PLA. This was the first time I hear that was required. Also you mentioned thatthe CArbon Fiber is almost dry. How did you know it was moist to start wit, didn't you just take it out of the box? Did you have something that told you it was moist? Sorry if you covered it in the video and I spaced out. Just send me to that point in the video if yo discussed these items in the video.

      I've just read on their website and seen on various facebook groups that it was recommended. The X1 may already have the hardened upgrades but if it doesn't and you're printing a lot of CF you might want to upgrade everything. It may say on the box to dry it right away but I don't remember. I don't normally dry filament out of the box but I wanted to give the CF filament the best shot to be successful since it was for a video. Didn't end up mattering though because the bucket was such a horrible print lol

    You will never run a 3D printer business using Bambu lab filament because they are always out of the stock of the colour you will need, went there today for some Red pla to finish a job, no stock, what do I do now?. The last batch of Black PLA I bought went in the bin, fail after fail, did all the cleaning the plate with dish soap, bought a digital indicator to check if my plate was level and it was. tried some sunlu, the cheapest amazon had and that worked a treat, so it must have been the filament that was dodgy. To be honest the bambu filament I have used in the past has been good stuff, but its no good if you cant get it.

      Oh no! At least you'll have the extra spools now for when you need them. You're going to love the A1 though :)

      Just buy a spool of whatever filament locally and print the bambu spools 😇

      @@Mr.X3D ya I just saw that on maker world. But I already bought them and some M3 screws and r188 bearings so it’s fine. 🙂
