Given this is the freshest of Yahtz and Gabe's content I've sat through since finding out Gabe was there for a Post ZP stream or two, genuinely, thank you for keeping these available. To tangent briefly, it is interesting to see stories I've heard before (Y and G's drinking stories, mostly) but told with different wording and flow. A new take on Yahtz's story from the Webby Awards, Gabe's thumb-in-the-bum graffiti story, all good shit, and I'm glad it's still somewhere on the web. So kudos to you, uploader!
These should be on the Yahtzee19 channel also. They are a good introduction to the Yahtzee + Gabe = good equation. Also, I enjoy the feedback/buzz/phone interference.
a long time ago I mentioned to Gabe that the Escapist fucked up for not picking these guys up for a show. Yahtzee's Twitch streams are total fucking balls compared to the chemistry with LDO and this podcast.
for the love of God I wish yahtzee had earthed his fucking audio equipment, I'm getting paranoid trying to sleep with that 60 Hz hum coming and going thinking my damn tablet/electronic shit has gone live
What makes the motion control scenario even funnier is that the guys who developed the motion control tech for the Wii approached Microsoft and Sony with the idea before they approached Nintendo; both Microsoft and Sony shot the idea down, and Microsoft said that if such a concept were to ever take off, they'd be the ones to do it better than anyone else.
15:00 That actually was a joke on either Mitchell and Webb Look or the sketch show that came before that, Mitchell and Webb [Whatever the title was]. Edit: Whoops, Yahtzee said it anyway...
More than a bit late but yes, I went to school with someone whose real name was Cosmo Birtles. He shot himself about a decade ago now, probably because he was named Cosmo.
Not all "literature" literature is bad and not all arty films are bad. Yes, there's a lot of intellectual wank, but there's a lot of non-intellectual wank. Being intellectual or arty is not good or bad in and of itself.
you'd probably learn a lot magically. because if you know the average amount about everything, you might forget stuff you're passionate about and learned more than most people know. but you'd learn stuff that other people who are passionate about other things learned because they're throwing off the average.
In an interesting fact in the early versions of the pre-christian bible YHWH(god) had a wife Asherah, also the judeo-christia-islamic is based on an earlier religion either Zoroastrianism or assyrian. (Extra fact the islamic people believe in jesus not as the son of god but as a man given special powers from alah/jehova/yhwh/god.)
Madagascar was nice, the second was shit. and three is debatably good. AND How To Train Your Dragon's good value is attributed to the director/writer duo Chris Sanders and Dean DeBlois.
I'm assuming that you're either a kid or a hardcore fanboy because the 1st Madagascar was a good movie but all the others were shit. Oh and how to train your dragon was also pretty shit.
Faith and reason are not so mutually exclusive. We all have faith in *something,* if you define faith as belief in something with no evidence. What about believing that this isn't all just a dream, or that you're not in the Matrix? Do you have any evidence to support that belief? Of course not. But you're not being unreasonable, by having this faith. Truth be told, reason/rationality is more about perceived benefit than evidence.
Vic 2.0 Actually being in a matrix or brain in a vat idea is not entirely discredited. The problem is checking. If you propose something and it cannot be checked then the only thing you can say is that it is indistinguishable from something the doesn't exist.
Vic 2.0 That's reasonable if we are talking about lets say the multiverse. You can actually make mathematical models to describe it. In other cases, it won't be that sound.
poseidon I'm not talking about what is sound and what isn't, just how rationality is truly defined. It is very clearly *not* defined purely by evidence.
One should not conflate 'belief' and 'faith'. Belief is a subset of knowledge, an expectation base on inference, evidence, and experience: I believe (have the belief) the sun will rise in the morning because there is strong evidence to support that 'belief'. 'Faith' is trusting 'something' that you either have no reason to believe or there is active and substantial reason against it and you as a person active disregard or ignore. Faith is the poison to reason and logic.
Thanks for preserving these!

Back when Gabe was still drinking, eh? That's maybe why they're not on the main channel.
That account picture...
Not sure why, but I reeeeeeally lost my shit when I saw this! xD
Thanks, man.
Kinder Surprise: 'The Eggs of Numbing Inevitability' - Bill Bailey

Edit: Whoops, Yahtzee said it anyway...
I love how I don't even need to click display on the previous comment to know it reads "first" just from the responses.
I'm taking this to my glorious "RUclips respones.txt"
Half of the laughs i had were from your profile pic
The Kinect Pod People, so gonna quote that out of context...
Congratulations.
AHAH! There's yahtzee... Trying to hide from me?!
My favorite games are The Binding of Isaac and Minecraft (both of which Yahtzee likes :D)

More than a bit late but yes, I went to school with someone whose real name was Cosmo Birtles. He shot himself about a decade ago now, probably because he was named Cosmo.
I love those kinder eggs!
because you need to fullscreen a motionless picture with audio.
Wow: Yahtzee fucked up records from the VERY beginning.
Relyn Serano Hi me.
+Relyn Serano It now told me about this. Dammit Google+.
Wonder if it tells you about this...

Hands monsters. I think he predicted Steven Universe.
I can detect a hint of Aussie in yahtzee's accent, it was inevitable I suppose.
Ashens with more tangents lol
Yathzee saying "I like first person shooter" W...T....F!....

Yes! Just Cause 2 rules ALL!
I.. have no idea what you mean by "OC"
Superpower suggestion: Being average, you will become pefetly average in all respects. Height, age, gender and weight among others.
you'd probably learn a lot magically. because if you know the average amount about everything, you might forget stuff you're passionate about and learned more than most people know. but you'd learn stuff that other people who are passionate about other things learned because they're throwing off the average.
yeah
Original content.
im ashamed of myself for checking to see if this person was different from the rest and had said something more than just "First".
Try to comment on the marvellous film that we're all here to see.

Watching this shit in 480p
Ice Age isn't by Dreamworks, it's by Blue Sky Studios. And Dreamworks isn't all bad (How to train your Dragon, Madagascar 1/2/3).
Madagascar was nice, the second was shit. and three is debatably good. AND How To Train Your Dragon's good value is attributed to the director/writer duo Chris Sanders and Dean DeBlois.
Wait... why was this in my sub box? I'm not subscribed to you...
WHAT SORCERY IS THIS?!
I'm assuming that you're either a kid or a hardcore fanboy because the 1st Madagascar was a good movie but all the others were shit. Oh and how to train your dragon was also pretty shit.
Maybe you just have a different taste?
Stop going on about Benjamin Netanyahu, you're never going to meet him!
???

poseidon Which says nothing of the rationality of the idea, only the provability of it...
