gonna sound reallll ignorant here, but what am I watching? Looks like some funky treble + bass fusion fighting against Random Circus Megaman Enemy? Never played any of the battle network games, but this looks surprisingly more dynamic than I ever thought they might be (always thought they were some kind of slow, card-game style Rock Paper Scissors thing)
The first game is fairly slow. The rest (starting with 2) slowly add features in to keep the combat fresh and make it more fast paced. Styles, double souls, soul cross, etc. Starting with 3 we got the navi customizer which lets you modify mega man’s basic abilities and add extras on for more of a personalized experience. Folder building can be fun like building a MTG deck or YuGiOh. Think of a Mega Man meets pokemon/yugioh/rpg game with a different story compared to the classic or X series, but with similar faces or adaptations of characters. The games are definitely worth a look but I recommend starting with 2 or 3 as the first one suffers from first game syndrome.
