  • This is the second episode in a travel series that I am incredibly excited to share. It has been my dream for 5 years living in Philippines to one day visit the island groups of the Sulu Archipelego. This region of Philippines has been shrouded by fear, and plagued by negative publicity - but what's it REALLY like on the ground in 2022? Let's find out...

    ABOUT ME:
My name is Mike and i have been living in and traveling the Philippines since 2017. I started my journey in Cebu and quickly adopted the channel name 'Endless Mike Cebu'. Endless Mike is an old nickname of mine, and since i never plan to stop exploring the Philippines - this seemed like a proper name for the channel. My purpose is to travel to all 81 provinces to better connect with my adopted home. Sometimes I travel with my family, Aicy and Luna, and sometimes I travel solo. Either way, I always aim to share good vibes and learn more about Philippines while making friends along the way. Tara na!

I really like how lowkey and humble you are Michael...

Thank you for the kind words, i try to keep it real. I believe, especially on monetized social media, people can sense when someone is being OA or has an agenda. Thats why sometimes i go months at a time without posting anything - if I’m not doing something im passionate about, im not posting it and wasting people’s time. Hope you enjoyed the video ✌️

@@EndlessMike_ Yeah, I can sense that you are sincere, never had I watched any of your vlogs trying filipino foods and exaggerating your reaction as if you trully are enjoying the food even when you don't, other clout chasing FOREIGN vloggers would fake it to get us like and subscribe to them, and even blatantly disrespect our flag just to get our attention, you deserve more followers than many of them (vloggers vlogging in BGC carrying our flag), the sad truth is that some of my fellow filipinos would rather choose shitty vloggers and contents that don't bring them any lesson or wisdom...good luck to you Michael, I hope to see you on the street one day.

Thank you my friend! I have long moved on from my idea of vlogging being a viable job, so my time is mostly filled with work that actually makes money haha, along with daddy duties and trying to set up a small farm. So, the vlogs are intermittent, but i still love travelling, connecting with philippines, and sharing with others… so i might have sone videos pop up every couple months. Hope you guys are doing well ✌️

You are brave enough as a foreigner to go to these places. Kulas of becoming Filipino also went there.

Friendly locals… white sand beaches and unspoiled…. I think if given the right packaging and marketing, Sulu and Tawi Tawi would boom.

I totally agree! I really believe tourism will be developing in the region in the future. Lots of exciting things happening that i learned about while traveling around there

Nice, I just discovered your vlog. You should specialize in the less traveled places, the other vloggers are covering the same places, it's getting boring. But incorporate more aerials pls to get a better feel of the places

Right on, thank you for checking out my videos! I also appreciate the candid feedback. I’m always open to tips on how to improve my videos from a viewer’s perspective. I think a main difference between my channel and those of other foreign vloggers is that this is not my job - I’ve never collected any Adsense revenue over almost 6 years. So, i feel no pressure to go to all the ‘hot spots’ or engage in more desperate tactics for views. I mostly just make these videos to preserve my memories around Philippines, BUT i certainly did put a lot of effort into this Sulu Sea series and had hoped many people would check it out. Although I can’t upload videos very often, i’ll keep sharing the best of Philippines as i experience it. Thanks again ✌️
