Something cool just happened.
I work in the alberta oilfield and am always playing your music when in the work trucks going from area to area. Well yesterday i had some phillipino workers with me in the truck. And they were blown away by the raw talent and the fact that most of the songs were done in a backyard or forest. As the karaoke kings of the world they really appreciated your voice. They dont speak the best english but still really enjoyed it. So today i come into the shop at site and jesse stewart is playing on the speakers. I was really confused to how my spotify hooked up to the bluetooth. I check my phone. Not mine. Come around the corner and all the phillipinos are jamming out and singing along with marauder. It was a really cool feeling. Just thought id share.
I love this story. That's the beauty of music. We're all different, but we're all the same. When a good song plays, you can look a stranger in the eyes, give'em a smile and a nod and they understand. To share that with others feels good.

Just came across Jesse Stewart here in the middle of nowhere in Scotland. What soul, passion and conviction you sing with. He's a Stewart so he must get his talent from the Scottish genes. Lol
This made my day, I'm down in Arizona and came across Jesse a few years ago. Marauder is one of my favorite songs and is the type of music to transcend all races and language barriers. I love my northern brothers and sisters, and all my music loving family on this crazy spinning rock.
Dude music brings us all together. The true voice of the soul and I mean we all got one of those. After all that's all we are.

Arlo was his dog, his family finally got the dog back after months of searching. Glad the dog made it home.
RIP jesse stewart, will forever be my #1 artist. his music speaks to me on a different level. i bought his cd pack to help fund the funeral ages ago to help the family of a truly good man lost too early. i am allways brought to tears of sadness but joy at the same time every song. his songs have many meanings underneath to many poeple and its sad we will never get another so i rejoice the fact we have the many songs we get to listen to, and i wish every one has an arlo too support and be the support we all need

I still remember where I was the day Jesse released his album.. sitting in my living room on a folding lawn chair, (because I didn't have any other furniture) smoking my bong. Went to RUclips for some smoking music and there it was.. my first thought was "about fucking time man". About a month later, my girlfriend and I packed up our truck and drove till we found another place to explore
Jesse, your music has inspired me for a long time... needless to say, it has brought me back from some dark times. I didn't know jesse but i knew a lot of train hoppers from his area and the country as a whole. Most people would have just seen a panhandler or a bum, but clearly as demonstrated by his music there was a lot going on.
Nobody who is addicted is truly free, but i know in my heart that he is free now.
