😮 May 10,1996, is when Twister premiered. I saw it in 96 when our theater had just installed surround sound and the curve screen. This is one of my favourite disaster movies. Retro greetings from coastal Mississippi 👋
The house rolling intact is a Easter egg with tornado history. In the 1925 Tri State tornado, an iconic photo exists of a house in Griffin, IN still intact but on it's side
Fax, he died from getting crushed by something flying by a tornado and his boss got his deserved fate when the truck fell on the ground and exploded with him in it
Kind of amusing that this tornado was supposed to be a record breaking tornado with 300mph winds, and 3 years after the movie came out the 1999 Bridge Creek F5 would hold, and still hold the fastest windspeed record at 321mph. The movie despite it's scientific inaccuracies at points, showcases the real raw power of an F/EF5 tornado. Just wish the NWS wasn't so picky on building codes, because we wouldn't have been in an EF5 drought.
What about the house?! You think if they can build a house that can roll down the the field from who knows how far away, and still stay in one piece, that they can also build it to stay in the ground.
Jonas not only died because of his arrogance, but his driver had far more common sense but refused to listen to him. Bill may not have had high tech a lot of gadgets but he had natural instincts since he has been chasing them far more compared to Jonas
Neither is having a piece of farm equipment smash your windshield at 7:01 , and have it magically repaired 3 seconds later at 7:03 , or driving through a house, going up or down stairs, and exiting directly on the other side of the house on the same level, but yeah, let’s get nitpicky about that.

One of the smartest decisions made in this whole scene was not adding a soundtrack, rather hearing the whole situational environment of a roaring F5
7:11 Bill Harding: oh my god i think WE'RE GOING IN
Too funny 😂😂😂
Jo: AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH

I like how Jo doesn't even care lol 5:45
It's not her first rodeo lol
6:29 - That windmill is spinning like an electric fan on full speed
2:34 At least, the F5 tornado was kind enough to push them off the tree before dropping the tanker truck infront of them!
right 🤣😂😅
I always felt bad that the Jonas's driver died because of his stupid prideful boss.

5:33 to 6:04 is my favorite scene in the movie
Some should put a full movie of the 1996 Twister with Bill Paxton, Helen Hunt on RUclips
The only realistic thing about this film is that the Dodge Ram is somehow the only 4x4 in the world that can't clear a branch
6:49 Bill: DEBRIS?!
RIP Bill Paxton & Phillip Seymour Hoffman

You mean that truck has a 4x4 and it can't get of a large tree branch?
2:50-3:03 That's not possible.
