My cousin brought me a Ulu when she went to Alaska on a cruise. I have had it for 20 years. I use it daily to chop vegetables, spices, most everything. My husband uses it to cut cuban bread. I love it 👍.
Awesome video 📹! Humpys Seafood Grill was a pleasant surprise and the timing of the jazz festival 🎉was priceless...that noise sure sounded like an eagle 😳
It was great! I loved the way the clouds overcome the earth only leaving a gap of earth between the clouds. It was quite a site to see. Thank you Robert for the great cinematography.
Sunday isn’t Sunday until I watch some Traveling Robert!! My wife and kids watch every single Sunday and every other day too Keep em coming! Pelican Head 🚐🚐🚐
Funny hearing you say the “you can see Alaska from there” comment. I first heard that when I moved to Anchorage in 1979. The other common refrain was “Alaska is only a 20 minute drive from the city”. The nickname “Los Anchorage” was also common back in the 80s.
Enjoying Alaska so much. The white lacy plants you pointed out are a relative of carrots called Wild Carrot or Queen Anne's Lace. It does smell like carrots as well. There are look-alikes that are toxic though. Just like all your other videos, the editing, awesome scenery, and watching you both enjoying another adventure is amazing. Thank you so much, Robert. Best to you and Iliana. Sherry 🥰🙏💞🍻
Hello, Robert! I so loved how you decided to put your phone away when you reached the homeless area; such a wonderful gesture of respect. It bothers me that some people view homeless camps as entertainment with out taking the time to realize that many folks are only one or two paychecks away from the very same plight. I just love this channel; it's like I am there in the truck with you riding along on the trips! I am off to NOLA for my birthday trip in a few weeks and then off to Puerto Rico a few weeks after that! Travel is the best! Keep the vlogs coming, kind sir.
Anchorage looks amazing, but certainly not as remote as where you have taken us so far. Happy birthday by the way. I didn’t hear you mention it in the video.
👋🏼 Hello! Been watching your travels for a few years and now you’re in my neck of the woods! 🦈 I’ve lived here in Anchorage for 40+ years now. So enjoyed your time here. Presented like a local. 😃 I’ll be watching your Seward trip. Haven’t been since pre Covid. Those restaurants are our favorites, too. Welcome to Alaska. I have some catching up to do. 📺😃🌲
I lived there for about 8 years, it hasn't changed hardly at all since 2006. My favorite trip was driving to Seward for the day. Also, Wasilla and riding on a dog sled at the Iditarod headquarters. Thanks for the video, I definitely cried from homesickness seeing Anchorage again.
Looks like a very nice city, despite being quite similar in many ways to so many cities. Hoping to get our trailer up there in the next couple of years... really enjoying this trip of yours. As always, safe travels.....
I went to Highschool in Anchorage (East Thunderbirds baby) back in the mid 70s, graduated in 1980 anyway I skied Alyeska and Artic Valley almost every weekend for years. Sure miss those days.
Hi Robert, seem like lots of your viewers watch your video's in the morning, but me its Sunday night and yes its just so calming to just sit back and relax to your great voice, music or narration, I want to thank you for just a little peace as I watch Thanks, until next week be safe.
We are the Night Shift, I have been a Night Person most of my life, go to bed around 5:00am Retired just my wife and I plus Daughter a 2 grand kids they help us with our needs and i thank God for there help @@joshm9478
Incredible number of planes near the end of the video. Man, they're probably used for more than just going for something minor since the cost of operation isn't like going for a car ride.
Hello Traveling Robert, I really enjoyed this video. I have never been to Anchorage,Al and I will make that a trip to Anchorage. So many AWESOME places to visit. Thanks Traveling Robert for this wonderful trip.
Magnificent! Brought back so many memories of my visit to Anchorage! Loved the Bore tide and hikes. The Tram ride at Alyeska was amazing. Alaska is so full of wonder.
Gooood morning, Robert! What an epic trip this has been! Seeing all the strip malls as you head into Anchorage must have been a bit of a letdown after your time in the wilderness. That noise at 8:20 sounds like it might be a bald eagle. The views from the Flattop trail are just fantastic even with the cloud cover. Looking forward to your glacier adventure in the next episode. Until then, happy trails!
I am enjoying your whole Alaska series...But I have no urge to go there myself. It seems like the previous videos we're in such barren, desolate and remote areas. With simple things like gas, groceries, etc, and a dump station hard to find. Glad you are back to the finer things ( like restaurants! ). Even in the summertime there were a lot of clouds, rain, and cold. And I know how much you like your mountain views.
Waking up to Robert's new video on Sundays is a great way to start your Sunday...makes you enthusiastic and ready to take on your Sunday.
Even though i don't like the cold i still ENJOY watching and taking in the GREAT scenery . @Traveling Robert 👍🙂🗻🛣🗺
My cousin brought me a Ulu when she went to Alaska on a cruise. I have had it for 20 years. I use it daily to chop vegetables, spices, most everything. My husband uses it to cut cuban bread. I love it 👍.
You found Miami in Alaska! That small concert was a good treat!

I am sure you get this all the time but the MUSIC for me it is one of the best parts of the show and gives me such feelings as soon as I hear it!
I should say your music not the band on the video 😁
Sunday isn’t Sunday until I watch some Traveling Robert!! My wife and kids watch every single Sunday and every other day too
Keep em coming!
Pelican Head 🚐🚐🚐
I forgot to mention that bore tide was very interesting too.. I love watching the tide come in from the Sea..
I am thoroughly enjoying this trip to Alaska. I always enjoy the scenery and the added content about bore tides was something new to me.
Love these cool themed walks
I hope to be back at the live streams in the near future

Another fabulous video! I enjoyed this trip- would love to see more of your wife exploring and her insights/commentary.
Love this Alaska trip!
Really glad to see a bore tide. Nice to see the Anchorage environs. My cousin lived there then retired to Seward.
Love my Sunday Robert and Iliana videos
Enjoying Alaska so much.

I don’t think Queen Anne’s Lace is found in Alaska. I believe the plant is more likely called Cow Parsnips.

Very good Robert. I was saving this one for the next weekend, but I decided to view it today anyways! Alaska as I have never seen before...
Spectacular weather for your tram ride 🤩!!

So much for a peaceful tram ride 😂 Beautiful area!
Those white flowers, may be Queen Anne’s Lace, that’s what I have always called them.

🚨🚨🚨🚨 Robert, the whiteflower is called Cow Parsely.
Another great video. Gorgeous views of Alaska!
At 34:15 that is called a Buck and Rail...or known as "Buck and Pole" fence, or "Jack Leg"--sorry not a "snow fence"--
Nice tour bro.
Hello Traveling Robert, I really enjoyed this video. I have never been to Anchorage,Al and I will make that a trip to Anchorage. So many AWESOME places to visit. Thanks Traveling Robert for this wonderful trip.

Hi, Robert and Ili. There is footage of the 1964 earthquake online. It is amazing (and terrible).

I think the plant you're referring to is called yarrow

Good thing it is 2023, and not 1823.
great vid
Those white topped plants are Wild Carrots.
Daucus carota, whose common names include wild carrot, European wild carrot, bird's nest, bishop's lace, and Queen Anne's lace
The flowers are Queen's Anne Lace. We have them in Tennessee too.
Cow Parsnip
Hey Robert from Jeanne and Scott Stark over here in Clearwater Florida waving. Hello hello how are you doing?
