That's what I thought at first but there's no mention of it being a weapon anywhere. In most of the shots of it in the anime they definitely have lenses in them with a bit of a shine on them. 🤷
The green one makes more se- Actually BOTH of these colors actually make sense for a military Mech which is what command always went for (an SD design/type I actually loved)
The shimmering grey they used on the GN blades looks surprisingly decent. Considering they converted it from that transparent light green it holds up pretty well as a solid metal looking material.
fyi "00 Command QanT Desert Type" also known as *00 Desert QanT* by some people used the exact same runners as 00 Command QanT so this 00 Desert QanT are basically a *recolor* of the original Green 00 Command QanT into *Desert color*
Pro tip what I did on the old green one for the head lights that aren't glowing . I put the Gundam metallic color marker on a tooth pick , and used that to apply to the glowing parts it worked pretty nicely , layer with the chrome or silver Frist then the eye color in this case red or pink
I like the looks of this guy too, may have to pick it up, I have the green one and totally love it the original green one's color scheme reminds me of a Boba Fett Gundam. It is so cool 😎. 👍👍👍

heck the sheer fact the exia r4 mb specifically indicates the existence of a future GN Sword VI has potential for a 00 follow up, though without setsuna and tieria
There’s a good chance it’s there considering that Helios, Perfect Strike Freedom, Blazing, and Livelance Heaven have been confirmed. Though it’s the original green version so you’ll have to repaint it to make this desert version.
Helloo, I just got mine today and I wanted to ask if there are any use of these extra parts? I got a helmet with red part but it doesn't fit to the head and there is this extra blade but there are some slots to it not sure if the current blade sticks to it

Then one day when I wanted to make another purchase my account was blocked. I wrote them and the said to me that they blocked me because I put a bunch of order and canceled them, wich I never did. I’ve been doing a custom painting and scratch build for a Jin Roh Of The Wolf Brigade out of a Zaku II FZ and I’ve painted it black with bronze and copper and drilled in 2 holes in the head and glued in 2 pieces of pipe styrene to make the goggles and added some clear film over the ends of the pipes to make the lenses and painted them with clear red to give it the night goggle look. It has a Swat Team look to it. It’s pretty much up to you though whether you want to make it yourself or wait for a not announced or not released kit that may or may not be released. Customization is freedom and the only thing holding you back is you. Happy building.😊

Since they actually been making just repaints of model kits of past, what would you want to see them to make in different colors? Plus what colors do you want to see them use in those kits? They have the classic green, the command yellow, and now red. Now they only have to make orange, purple, and blue GN condenses. Then somebody can actually make a rainbow mobile suit. With all the extra pieces that's in some of these kits, you would think you would be able to actually make your own custom gun out of the various parts.

I have a bit of a mixed opinion on the 00 Command Quanta. On one hand, I really like the design, especially in the desert colors, but on the other hand, I feel it’s too much Command, and just not enough Quanta.

The forehead things are beam cannons, ZZ style; that art with them glowing is being primed to firing.

Kinda excited for this kit because I still have Waterslide camo decals from the p-bandai Double antenna Desert Zaku.
