    Thank you 771 for this video, super helpful!!! Are you happy with the BBR front springs? I am about 225 and was thinking of putting them on my 2023 250F with a Vonkat El Jefe rear shock. What's your opinion ? Thanks again !

      Hey there! I appreciate the kind words! I think that’ll be an awesome pair up. My buddy has them on his as well and he is about 200lbs. Night and day difference for each of us. And when you swap the springs you can try them out with the stock weight fork oil and see how you like it. If you want it even stiffer you can always add heavier oil in the forks too. Drain your old and add heavier in.

    I love my BBR suspension wish they work on CRF 250 line as there only concentrating on 110 game but BBR said they mite have some stuff install

      @ThatGuy-771  Год назад

      Yea everything here part 1 and 2 are all BBR components for the 250F. So you have a good selection to choose from with mods now. They have came out finally with a good variety across a couple companies.

    After installing the bar risers do you have to raise the steering stem & lower the forks.
    How do you get stiffer springs that match your weight ratio ??

    • @ThatGuy-771
      @ThatGuy-771  10 месяцев назад

      After you install the fork extenders you will lower your forks. This is done by loosening the bolts up on your triple clamp.
      Link for the rear spring is here. www.crfsonly.com/catalog/product_info.php/cPath/355_360_415_419/products_id/7665

      I’m 5’ 4” I don’t want the bike to sit taller. I do want fork blender screws so can I use the extender & not raise girth of bike @@ThatGuy-771

    Also have you upgraded your valve springs and cam yet

    Do these springs actually add any travel, since they are much longer and eliminate the spacer?

    • @ThatGuy-771
      @ThatGuy-771  7 месяцев назад +1

      Nah. They’re not giving anything more really on your travel. They’re just stiffening it up a whole hell of a lot. I no longer run the BBR rear.

    How do I find the community page with the torque settings ?
    I need to know the top triple clamps torque settings. They are only 10 mm bolts so I don't want to over tighten them.

    Do the fork extenders end up raising the handlebar an inch higher?

    • @ThatGuy-771
      @ThatGuy-771  Год назад +1

      Yes. It raises the entire front end up an inch

    • @flappymcbobjoe35
      @flappymcbobjoe35 Год назад +1

      @@ThatGuy-771 could that be an issue if you already have a handlebar bend that's raised quite a bit?

    • @ThatGuy-771
      @ThatGuy-771  Год назад +1

      Nope not at all. I run oversized 1 1/8th CR high bend bars with the riser adapters and the fork extenders. It’s actually perfect.

    I’m not finding the bar springs on eBay or Amazon. What is the part # on the box ??

    • @ThatGuy-771
      @ThatGuy-771  10 месяцев назад +1

      You can get this from Hyperlite Moto, crfsonly or BBR themselves. I don’t ever buy anything off Amazon or eBay for the bike. Here’s one link for you and where I got mine. www.crfsonly.com/catalog/product_info.php/cPath/355_360_415_419/products_id/7665

    That’s odd I ordered the same springs for mine and they were the same size and the stock springs

    • @ThatGuy-771
      @ThatGuy-771  Год назад

      Hmmmm that’s not right then. Where did you order them from?

    • @CuseOutdoors
      @CuseOutdoors Год назад

      @@ThatGuy-771 I ordered them from hyperlite Moto and they came in a bag rather than a box like yours and the bag did say bbr. Hyperlite usually has some good stuff but the reason I was watching your video was because my forks make a clunking sound whenever my front tire is off the ground and comes back down. Im wondering if the springs are possibly the wrong diameter for the tubes because I’ve tried stacking extra washers(only one extra in each side) and no luck still.

    • @ThatGuy-771
      @ThatGuy-771  Год назад

      @CuseRippin I’m honestly wondering if you got the wrong springs in there. Used the same oil that was in the forks before right? Or did you add/take any away. What was the part number on their bag?

    • @CuseOutdoors
      @CuseOutdoors Год назад

      @@ThatGuy-771 A small amount of oil dripped out when I removed the old springs so I did add a very small amount of oil in each side and as for the part number, I ordered these springs roughly a month ago so unfortunately I couldn’t tell ya the part# however I do agree after watching a few videos on RUclips of this swap and no one else having my same problem that they probably sent me defective ones or just completely wrong ones. I may try to add a few more washers and see if that works because the bike rides much nicer than with the stock springs I’m just concerned about wearing out the fork internals due to the movement of the parts. If that doesn’t work I’ll have to order from a different place that has actual bbr springs.

    • @ThatGuy-771
      @ThatGuy-771  Год назад

      @CuseRippin that’s what my worry would be brother. Are they the same diameter as your stock ones or a little smaller? Wondering if they sent you their 125f springs by chance if they’re not as big in diameter and aren’t any longer. I’d call Hyperlite and explain and I’m sure they could work something out with you though.
