There are no words to describe how beautiful this room is. I love everything about this... the displays... the presentation... the passion... all the independent artists that help make these replicas possible... the relentless passion for Star Wars. I would LOVE to see these models in person!!
wow absolutely gorgeous setup. the only thing i would do different is set up a bed in the middle of the room so i can fall asleep staring at them, and waking up to see them lol
Very impressive, Cylon Raider has been my favorite as well. I also like the Colonial Viper. I am a big fan of space ships and these 2 have been my most favorites out of all the t.v. shows and movies.
Staggering collection and even more impressively one of the best ways to display any collection (of any type) I have ever seen! Simply stunning in every aspect! Not only the models of a quality beyond belief, but the way the room looks, every element, facet, plinth, lighting, the clean open space not at all overcrowded (which 99% of collectors' display rooms are). I am very VERY happy RUclips put this video in my feed, instant fan here and will continue to watch and follow your collection and maybe get some inspiration for displaying my own (diecast aircraft and cars) collection.
As a kid this was what I wanted in my bedroom. Your stardestroyer looks amazing and is my favourite. Thank you for sharing, and keep up the good work, sir.
Beautiful gallery, thank you so much for sharing it. I can't wait for your pizzeria to be finished I'll come from New Jersey to eat there and to see it. Merry Christmas hope you and your family have a wonderful safe and blessed holiday. May the force be with you always. Thank you again.
I really enjoyed your collection and your very well done display . We are from the same era. I waited in line over and over again at the Coronet theatre in San Francisco as a kid to watch the best movie ever made…. a wonderful collection … I think your display on just the ships in simple well lighted background is great. I am a life long model maker and your videos are taking me back to the passion I had for the the Star Wars models . Cheers ..I love Star Wars , Models,70’s, and funny but my other hobby is pizza. In short I loved your video and collection. I will be sure to go to dark side pizza when I go to Texas !! Great job … and thank you for sharing. Tony
I live in Spring Branch and am so looking forward to Dark Side opening. Will be my go to dine in. Beautiful collection and Merry Christmas to you and your family.
What is cool shade? Always love to see your collection. The pride, love and respect is very evident. And you should be proud. It is an amazing collection. Do you ever open your gallery to the public?
really impressive collection! You in fact are one of the guys that inspire me. I've watched your videos for years and was always stunned by your collection. Then a year ago I bought an airbrush and started model making. I've nearly completed all the small bandai kits from the original Star Wars movies and now nearing my 30th's I started collecting the new Fanhome (old Deagostini) Falcon kit. This will be my entry in movie scale models and I am so looking forward to it! Currently I am building a 1/2700 scale star destroyer where I am trying to learn all the lighting and wireing stuff. Keep up with your videos. As I said you inspired me to start model making and I am sure there are others out there, who are in the same boat
Absolutely stunning. I have watched your channel over the past year and have revisited the hobby of Star Wars collecting and building models. Great inspiration for kit building and getting things as close to the originals from ILM. I may even try some matte painting backgrounds for my small collection. Keep those videos coming!! Thanks so very much!
Wow it’s a beautiful showroom. Love the BSG display. Another connection with Buck Rogers is that a Ralph McQuarrie design for the Viper eventually became the Thunderfighter.
Great video as always. I’ve paused it on my tv as I heard you mention that you have not had any issues with baking soda on your models after 5 years. So I felt compelled to leave a comment here in the hope that you’d read it and warn others. I’m the Admin on the Fb group “The Star Wars AT-AT Walker & Variants Modeller’s Group” and in the group image albums folders under AT-AT restoration, there are a set of photos showing ongoing restoration work on two of the original props which were slowly being eaten away by 40 year old baking soda. So I wouldn’t recommend using it long term if you intend on having your replicas last. Btw, love your collection. I’m very envious.
The Y Wing was always my favourite design, followed by the I-Class Star destroyer, Falcon and Lamda Shuttle. Of all the models I built.... I never built the Y-Wing.
Awesome collection! I had just recently purchased just about all of my mates uncles genuine unopened starwars model kits! Still in plastic rapping there so authentic! They weren't cheap! He has one that i haven't got room for, but its a steel millennium falcon, extremely rare, it spands a metre and weighs a solid 60kg id say... itd be an honour to oneday build it and have it hanging in my studio.
In regards to Battlestar Galactica TOS, John Dykstra who originally was the Special Effects Director and started ILM and designed the Dykstraflex camera for Star Wars- went on to start Apogee to do the special effects for Battlestar Galactica. Everyone from ILM went over to Apogee including Joe Johnston, Richard Edlund, Denis Muren and many others. Apogee also rented the Dykstrafkex and other equipment from ILM so the same equipment used on Star Wars was used in Battlestar Galactica for the pilot and first couple of episodes until Universal could get their own facility and equipment set up to takeover producing new special effects shots. That facility was know as Universal Hartland. Once the new ILM was set up in San Rafael, Most of the crew at Apogee left and went to the ILM to work on the Empire Strikes Back and later Return of the Jedi and other movies.
Absolutely inspiring Mike. Maybe one day, you will be granted a space for a museum to your collection - its invaluable to all of us xx from New Zealand
For snow effect you could go to a 3d print company that has SLS printers that use nylon powder. They throw away alot of "used" powder when cleaning off printed parts. It can be used a couple of times in the printer and then gets heat damaged but its perfectly white to use as snow powder and neutral to other materials. Great collection!
This is the most beautiful, heartening, and magical thing I’ve seen in ages. Outstanding work and presentation. Only thing I wished for was a slow and close-up fly around of each model, but that could be its own video. Thanks so much for being you and for doing this and sharing it here. Comfort food for the soul. ❤️
That is just awesome! It is so inspiring to see the sheer amount of work and passion (and money) youv'e put into that beautiful gallery. I showed my wife your collection when she complains about the comparetively meagre amount of Star Wars stuff i've put in my music room - I said its all starkillers fault!
Such an amazing collection. I'm uber impressed with the Medical Frigate and the Star Destroyer. I can't wait to see the 7 foot Tantive. Thanks for sharing.
Fantastic work, an inspiration to us all ;-) 42:23 = Porkins was _also in_ a little-known 1989 film: *BATMAN.* ( "Shoot...To KiII: _Know What I _*_Mean?"_* ~ Detective. Eckhart ) 18:34 = Did anyone else see that ?? (A dust mote? or something else (?)
The place where the Cylon climbs the ladder is not a set -It's NASA's mockup of the Skylab space station. The boxes in the foreground are the boxes the astronaut runs on in that classic footage from the station.

Hi Michael, thanks again for commissioning all these incredible builds then letting us see them so beautifully displayed.
Stunned 😮 to be in this room, alone and dreaming away to another galaxy would be heavenly.
That star destroyer looks like the exact scale you would play FFG/Asmodee xwing 2.0 with. Looks amazing
oh how i would love to have an Imperial -class Star Destroyer on my living room all lit up :)
wow absolutely gorgeous setup. the only thing i would do different is set up a bed in the middle of the room so i can fall asleep staring at them, and waking up to see them lol
Such a magnificent collection, & so lovingly displayed. Thank you for sharing!
Very impressive, Cylon Raider has been my favorite as well. I also like the Colonial Viper. I am a big fan of space ships and these 2 have been my most favorites out of all the t.v. shows and movies.
I salute you sir, those sleeves would drive me crazy.

The finishing of the walls isn’t that good. But who wants to look at the walls in this room. 😅
@@paulpisters668YOU DID !!!!

Enjoyed the tour. Thanks for sharing.
Awesome collection, and equally awesome displays!
What an awesome collection! Thank you very much for sharing it with the viewers. I'm a huge model fan. Great craftsmanship!
The display room should be painted with a black star field. Those "windows" would be awsom with holograms of planets, asteroids, fleets of ships.
Golly! You have the next big thing in Star Wars gallery, Michael! I appreciate you sharing it with all of us!
absolutely! Thanks for watching.
I just love your Gallery, thanks for sharing your passion with us. When is the restaurant due to open, would love to visit it on my next trip over.

It is indeed an amazing collection but what I loved the most, is the passion the owner presentes it and how proud he is of owning it.

Thank you for this the age of practical models are fading with CGI taking over

Awesome Pieces,Michael. Can't wait to see them in person 🤙😁
Love the tour. Love the details. Love the background. Love the music. Thank you.
Simply incredible! ❤
Amazing!
These ships and designs are all so iconic and functional looking - I believe they can fly. Today's artists do not have a fraction of the talent.
For snow effect you could go to a 3d print company that has SLS printers that use nylon powder. They throw away alot of "used" powder when cleaning off printed parts. Not jealous at all. lol Absolutely amazing! Never get tired of seeing your collection. Merry Christmas!
Same to you!
Love the battle star helmet the design so ahead of its time could be used in the new BSG so cool
Love your collection
I imagine you will eventually get a Full Scale Death Star I & Iii ... if you don't already have.
Amazing! Thanks for sharing.
Looks fantastic, great job Michael 👍
This is the most beautiful, heartening, and magical thing I’ve seen in ages.

Amazing collection and can’t wait for the restaurant video! Your cameraman needs some work though…LOL!!!
Love the collection. I’m surprised to not see an Eagle from Space1999 or a Spinner from Blade Runner in your collection.
you're so cool, love your work.....
wow, incredible
This is awesome!!!
Great new space man, love it, well done again. When collecting so much its hard to get the time to get the space set up right but you did it.
