Inno3D RTX 3090 - The Mysterious Short Circuit Fix

In this video, I take on the challenge of repairing an Inno3D RTX 3090 graphics card with a unique issue: the fans weren't spinning, and the LED lights were completely off. After some investigation, I discovered a short circuit on one of the 12-volt 8-pin connectors. Surprisingly, the short disappeared when I disassembled the GPU, leading me to the root of the problem-a faulty LED strip on the shroud of the cooler. By disconnecting the LED strip, I restored the GPU to full functionality, with the fans spinning again. The customer opted not to fix or replace the LED, so the repair was complete. "Lets see if anything explodes" 😂That's what I tell myself every time I check for shorts and I do not find any. Yet when it comes time to power the GPU on I always think as you. I think we both know why. It has happed before ! No shorts when poking around, then pop when you power it on!

Perhaps, you should have fixed the LED cos it looks easy enough. Diode or capacitor
