It’ll take me a couple days but I’m definitely doing it since I was called out. I’m a few vids behind but I’m working to catch up. It’s really nice to see your comments!
After having talked about editing with you earlier, I found myself glued to every little detail. There were so many things, that I am not even sure I can tell 'what's different'. But.... I will try. 😉 Now, let me start by saying that you may have been doing this all along, but it just flowed with the video, but I was just focused on every little thing. #1 You didn't have transitions (or you used extremely short timed ones) when you clipped video segments together. #2 These transitions/cuts of tape, were almost like you were a magician and said; "I am right here, but in a millisecond, I will be an 8th of an inch to the right" LOL I will have to watch back other videos to see if you have always done this, but you did it a lot during this video and for the most part it worked. Only a couple of times were you so far moved into a different position, that it hurt the eyes to watch. #3 I like also how you were at your desk for a while, then on a couch or a different area in your room with a different angle. #4 I don't remember those little flashes of random things between your takes on a book (like the Pez dispensers), but I really enjoyed that. #5 The close ups, the panning down the book art, the moving letters or words are all great. But I not sure if any of this is new or I just took it for granted before. #6 Overall, the video seemed to go at a faster paste, and held my attention very well. Not even concerning the time or length of the video, but just "the pace" at which you did your reviews. Job well done! 4.5 / 5 stars 😅
Wow! Now those are some comments. I used three different cameras and spliced the footage together. That was the first time. I’ve used photo transitions and titles before but have gotten lazy about adding them. Thank you for the attention to detail. You get 4.6 / 5.
This is a fantastic video, David! Loved the detail of the art. You are officially an influencer! I ordered a copy of Hello Darkness #1 for my niece for Xmas! Too bad about DC Horror. Those covers are fantastic!
Shucks. I hope your niece likes it! I think as an anthology series it continues to impress with each issue. There are actually two more issues that I need to buy. Hint: Ice Cream Man is the one to buy. It’s phenomenal.
The Horror, the horror!!! There is quite the revival of horror anthologies these days. I only read the first issue of Hello Darkness, but at this point I can only remember that I hated the bowling story and that I was disappointed that a number of the stories were to be continued. Nevertheless, I greatly enjoyed hearing your thoughts on all three issues. Excellent video. PS they recently released a black and white version of Absolute wonder Woman no 1 and I think the art is even more amazing without the color!
I saw it in the shop and promptly turned my nose up at it. I only want to grab a box of crayons and markers and color it in!!! Actually, I’ll probably have to get a copy of that.
Nice shirt! Love Hello Darkness. Agree on DC Horror. I'm only getting it for the covers and that feels so dumb! Batman Dark Moon sounds great! I may have to get it. Yeah, you made me want to reread Hello Darkness. I think it's the best Horror Anthology going right now.
David, be honest, did you spend more time on the last two shows than usual? They are so well done. Now ask yourself what is more fun writing shows or doing lesson plans? I hated lesson plans. I could have wall papered a house with all the ones I wrote and it would still need work. Ha ha
I was hoping this was the Sad Bastard Tag.
Some of these look stunning.

Great editing.. like your updated set.. you sold me on the Rodney Barnes Batman book. I really like Absolute Wonder Woman.
You should try Hello Darkness- quality book. Thank you, Taqi.

I need to get the next two issues.
Oh I loved loved the art of that flrsh comic David. Somehow made me think of Tank Girl.
I was trying to put my finger in what that art reminds me of and I guess it’s Little Bird, a series from about two years ago.
Once again, you got me my friend 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼
@@TheVinylLoungeMtl Thank you. That’s such a nice comment.
Okay I'm gonna try Ab WW and Hello Darkness!
Let me know after if they are for you.
Great reviews!
@@BrianLCS Thank you! I really appreciate that.
