Der Algorithmus kennt meine Vorlieben! O&K gab es damals wie Sand am Meer, wenn ich gewusst haette dass die Marke 2005 einfach sang-und-klanglos untergehen wuerde haette ich viel mehr mit der Kamera draufgehalten, damals!

Tröste Dich, mir ging es genauso. Hätte nicht gedacht, dass die Firmenbosse die Baggersparte beerdigen. Der Verkauf der weltweit erfolgreichen Rolltreppensparte zuvor hätte mich wachrufen sollen. Die haben nach und nach das ganze Tafelsilber verkauft.

Why did the excavator have Terex Mining on it when it was an O&K or since they used that make of truck did the firm happen to be called that. ?

+Benjamin Beytekin Trust me not to know that ... HaHa. So I presume the machine was on hire, it was certainly doing a very good job - those teeth on that bucket certainly looked the part.

terex hovered up alot of brands like o&k, atlas? and over brands. terex has since sold off alot of the brands it had. I never understand why they sold out to terex , in the same way komatsu brought out demag. two of the best brands going.
@@chrisgrayston1982 O&K was almost bankrupt,when they sold their mining divison to Terex.The other construction machinery of O&K was further taken over by CNH (New Holland).Demag sold it´s mining divison as part of a restructuring process to Komatsu.At that time Mannesmann Demag was a big player in the fast growing german mobile phone market.And so they were no longer interested in heavy industries.Mannesmann was then taken over by Vodaphone.And Demag crane division was sold to Terex.
What are they doing? Are they building a highway or just collecting resources?

Sehr schön, könnte ich mir ewig anschauen... Schade nur, dass man nicht sieht, wie das Ende des Blocks/Abbaustreifens (wie auch immer man das nennt???) erreicht wird, wäre auch ein gutes Ende für das Video. Und eine höhere Auflösung (...und dann gerne auch 2 Std. lang...)
+Kowalski Tja, damals war halt noch die gute alte 4:3 PAL Technik Standard und nix HD TV. Auf einem HD Fernseher kann man aber meine DVD's "Bagger in Aktion" sehr gut anschauen.
