I just got my amvr face interface today its far superior to the default one.. I can wear the pico without my glasses and with this interface i can actually increase the ipd higher now. no light leakage higer fov now.. just all around way more comfortable too... awesome accessory imo
I love my pico 4. I’ve been playing iRacing with it, with virtual desktop in godlike, its amazing. I also got the AMVR facial interface, and I also have the problem of being too close to the lenses. But its a lot more confortable than the stock one.
The AMVR Knuckles is a must have imo! I'm actually fine with the stock facial interface, but I hated the back padding. Check out the Zyber Pico 4 strap and back padding costs about 30 euros and greatly improves comfort for me at least.
AMVR suggested to me with regards to nose/face touching lenses to insert the glasses spacer that comes with the Pico 4. I just used a spare thicker foam from VR cover with the Quest 2 which isn't a perfect fit but works better and feels more comfortable. I beleive AMVR have a thicker foam but I don't see it being sold separately. Great video as always 👍
I think the AMVR "leather" pad is just this side of useless. Fortunately, it can, with a bit of adjustment, fit the iinterface cushions I got with VR Cover's Facial Interface. Biggest issue with the AMVR interface for me is that it makes the spot right at the top middle of my forehead extremely sore after wearing it for only 20 minutes or so, and I have to take the headset off. As to the "knuckles" hand straps: I sent mine back almost immediately. Like you said, they actually interfered with my ability to reach the controllers' thumbsticks, and (despite how much I usually like these sorts of hand straps) irritated the hell out of me. Good review, Karl; I always greatly appreciate how much detail you include.
I have the AMVR and I couldn't be happier with both the comfort and the FoV. I believe some people have added packing to the sides of the AMVR facial interface, so as to completely remove light leakage.
Just wanted to say I love your videos, especially the sim racing ones! Decided to get the playseat Challenger as my first sim seat, already got the logitech g29 with shifter and pedals, looking forward to also buy a handbrake. Been loving Sim Racing with my Pico 4, works great over VD. Although I should upgrade my gpu next, my 2060 reallyy being pushed to the limit with sim racing and vr lol

I read someone had the same issue with the plastic touching nose and face, and he got a 16mm pad and it fixed it. I went ahead and ordered direct from amvr and chose the 16mm extra pad. They probably have a million pads to sell, and might offer 16mm as default if they sell all the thin ones? Edit: i see you are set with the Geekvr interface and halo strap!
Hey Karl, I return to check your new videos for a PSVR2 thoughts/review. People are really hype it so much. Since PS has GT I thought that you are the guy to be very interested in checking it out or if you are not, you have to have strong reasons for.

i have a video request, when i go in oculus airlink and i look around it is like lagging and has a black glitch around me then it like loads i don’t know how to explain it but i’m just saying when i look around there’s black then it loads after 5 seconds
Hello bro, don’t know who else to ask I see u reply to messages, I got Logitech pro wheel/ pedals I got the shifter and adapter, plugged it all in but can’t get the shifter to work in gt7 the setup instructions are vague to say the least but not sure if I have to change settings in game any advice would be welcome, thanks for your vids they have really helped in the past

Hi, I have both and am happy with it. No leakage for me, but that was already the case with the original face-mask. The knuckle straps are great too.
