Same. They're pushing this Patreon thing so hard and they said it's only $2 so I may check that out so they don't give this up. There's seemingly like at least 5 or 6 people running the podcast that all need a paycheck. Usually won't subscribe to Patreon but $2 for Jim Jefferies isn't unreasonable

It seems like pena and Murphy didn't expect jim to know so little and they expected a show where they have a meaningful discussion. Seemed quite rude when Murphy says he thought jim had watched narcos and says he doesn't know why they are on this show.

the significant thing about 'plato or plomo' was there was no middle ground. You can't say "i don't want to be involved, i didn't see anything, i won't testify. please just leave us alone." that was never an option. You either took the money and worked for him, or were killed. That is the scary part. you HAD to take a side.

They might admit it at this point, I've seen plenty of ex-DEA in documentaries saying the war on drugs needs to end.
You can tell they don't care about this part of the podcast anymore because it's not making them enough money (they've said as much) and moving what was always free behind a very high paywall is probably the funniest thing this show has done in a while. Too bad cuz Jim is great just about every time.

I spent a couple weeks in Medellin and it was fantastic. The people are wonderful and the cost of living is low. American dollars go a long way there. They call it "The City of Eternal Spring" for its weather, which to me is perfect. The average daily Hi/Lo temps are 78/58F - 27/14C. It's like that every day of the year.
Am I the only one who noticed that Steve is wearing a "Colombia" jacket? :D
This one was a very informative episode. It probably would of been better if Jim watched Narcos. But it was still good.
