    What's the benefit of using an ellipse to then create count for outlets, compared to just creating a count for outlets? Seems like an unneeded step.

      You have more options to customize counts by creating the symbols first and then converting them to count objects. Standard built-in count objects are limited to specific shapes/colors.

    how do i continue with an area or linear? when i click on the area and right click i dont see anything that indicates resume.
