In the 80's I still listening to Fabulosos Cadillac's. Is a band of Ska, but they play wathever you want. Nice reaction, greetings from Argentina.
I am 44 and remember being a teenager when I first heard their song "Matador". I heard it in Lima, Peru back then. They are an amazing and talented band and so happy to hear that they are playing at Coachella this year. Wish I could be able to see them but the tickets cost a fortune. Cheers!

Great reaction. The two younger members are the lead singer and the bass' sons. Matador is a very famous song. it played in a John Cusak movie. Mal Bicho is another one of their hits. They played it in the same concert.

They have some cool live performances, like Amor Ausente featuring Abel Pintos (another great artist) or Para que sigamos siendo (en vivo) (this is a stripped version and one of my favorites).
Also, Bajofondo is an Argentinean-Uruguayan band that combines tango with techno music. They wrote a song called El Mareo together with Gustavo Cerati. 😉

Los Fabulosos Cadillacs (The Fabolous Cadillacs) started in 1984 with Vicentico (lead singer) and Flavio (the bald bass player) as a core members, that's why you see a new gen playing with them, and they got mainly influence of ska during early days but they went through different more genres and latinamerican rhythms like reggae, mambo, salsa, samba, pop, tango and cumbia.
You mentioned Madness and that's very accurate since they got influence from British bands like them, The Specials, The Selecter and English Beat, they also did covers songs from The Clash, Dandy Livingstone, The Rolling Stones and many more. They even had the production of Talking Heads and Tom Tom Club former members during the 90's and did a collab song with Debbie Harry (Blondie singer) and Mick Jones from The Clash when singing "Mal Bicho" another of the greatest hits.
"Siguiendo La Luna" (Following The Moon) got a reggae base fused with that psichodelic elements and is one of their greatest hits along with "El León" from the same album in 1992, which got a follow up next year with the song "Matador", undoubtedly their biggest hits not only in Argentina but internationally, so that's naturally a recommendation for next reaction.

This band was very big in the '80 and it was a ska and latin-rock band, mainly....until the year 2000 when they split and re-joined 10 years after....nice reaction.
