I loved Off Center when it was on. Then I downloaded it and watched it over and over. I had never seen this pilot until today. Eddie Kaye Thomas is hands down the better Mike. He's more interesting and a great physical comic. I wish this was in syndication instead of that NPH piece of tired crap. These guys (including Chow and Status Quo) are a hilarious ensemble. Huge fan. Can't get enough. Eddie's good on Scorpion but he doesn't really get to flex his comic muscles as much. I also liked him on that other sit com with Brad Garrett. And John Cho also a comic genius. Duh.
I've never seen this. I'm so used to see Eddie kaye Thomas so it feels odd to see Josh Radnor as Mike. He is not as bad as some say... and his appearance with the girlfriend Liz looks better... although Eddie Kaye Thomas being a funny looking guy is part of the comedy.... ......After seeing this more than 3 times, I am starting to like this version. It kinda grows on you. But the super model does not look like a super model in this version.
Its weird how they didnt use the scenes without Mike on this episode in the final first episode. The scenes are the same only with different clothes on some actors
I can see why they recast Mike. This guy isn't as funny as Eddie Kay Thomas who ended up playing the role. Eddie and Sean Maguire had great chemistry and were a better contrast. If you watched this first, definitely give the show another chance and watch the episodes that were broadcast.

I like how he’s basically still Ted Mosby in this show and instead of Barney, he has Euan.

Can’t believe Josh Radnor was originally cast as Mike. You can definitely tell though that he wasn’t right for the role.

he went on to do one of the most iconic sitcoms ever called How I Met Your Mother (that ran for 9 seasons) so i'd say he did quite well
