Umpires and referees that blow obvious calls should be suspended just like players, none of them should determine who wins or loses by making bad calls.
@@blazingbattlehawk9626 Really?? The ones that are 6 inches out of the strike zone were pretty freaking obvious to everyone in the park EXCEPT the incompetent umpire. Electronic assistance is needed to clean up the blindness, bias, and incompetence of some umpires.
No no no..... the SADDEST part is watch this I don't even know you but I bet you aren't trying to become a MLB umpire... you just want to be a third party who can/will complain about the call EITHER WAY... am I close you can tell me the truth but it better for you to just lie to me and say if you were the ump you would always make the "perfect call" every time
Last night wainwright struck out the batter with a curveball and the runner on 1st stole and he was thrown out but the umps called him safe and the pitch a ball. It's getting ridiculous!!!
They should have extra umps on standby, when an ump is this bad he should be pulled from the game, his pay for the game forfeited and immediately replaced.
The Umps should honestly just have the calls read to them from the AI strike zone/safe or out computer. This way they can keep their job, be a part of the game but just be messengers and peace keepers💯
They need an ACCURATE camera behind the plate to call balls and strikes. The only reason they need an ump there is to call out or safe at home. This umpire is horrible.
Unfortunately if that happens, us MLB fan's will lose so much entertainment from watching Player's, & especially Manager's go ballistic on the human ump's, it's literally my favorite part of the game! 😆
@@Slinger43I could just see it now, the roboUmp calls opposite an obvious (whether strike or ball), the batter gets angry and starts hammering away at or on it with the bat, destroying it. Other side the pitcher doesn't get the wanted call, and deliberately chucks a 95+ mph ball at roboUmp. Lol 😆😂🤣
@@simplysteve68 Except that the electronic assistance systems do NOT make mistakes. Once you set the strike zone for the game, they are over 99.99999% accurate. This has been tested at Triple A and it eliminates the umpire error as well as subjective and ever changing strike zones and ensures that ALL players have the same strike zone.
As a Cubs fan, this is sad to see cause it could happen for any team. I have umped before and to me you can make better calls setting up behind the plate better. But the catcher is doing his job also which is pulling the ball back up into the zone. Umps need to realize what going on. But this is just sad. Sad. Sad. Sad.
Umpire Saturday in Cleveland Saturday ripped off the Astros and soon after got hit in the wrist with a wild pitch from the home team. Had to get first aid.
Those all are strikes. The ball enter the plate as a strike on the lower portion then it curve down out of the strike zone when it hits the catcher mitt. But remember, the catcher is a few feet behind the plate.
Instant replay it's right there. If they can't make the call the right way the box can.. we don't need we get so many it's right there.. even the fans can figure this who's out
In the minor leagues they are experimenting with an automatic umpire radar tech. It’s umpires like this one where this technology needs implemented immediately.
My uneducated guess is that every new young umpire that gets to MLB must attend Angel Hernandez course of 'Calling pitches at home plate 101'. While blindfolded. 😎
This is the same umpire that gave the Astros Stanek a troll smile after ejecting him which came after calling a balk on him against the Dodgers, allowing the go-ahead run to score.
More evidence that the robo ump needs to call balls and strikes. These umps are horrible and their egos are so fragile they throw out players and Coach’s at the drop of a hat. A good umpire is one you don’t notice because they made correct calls.
20 years ago the players would have adjusted to the game. Today, they have zero clue how to do that. Being able to see the "strike zone" now has ruined the game.
I didn't see your post before I commented. I came on here and said the same thing. He likes to give a troll smile after ejecting, like he gets off on it.
In the bottom of the 9th with the game on the line, if it's close enough to be called a strike, you'd better be swinging. Those pitches weren't too low where they were unhittable by any means. Great framing job by the catcher.
... I'm 64 yrs old and have been saying it for decades; umpires are so freaking inept behind the plate. Absolutely horrible
ALL THE DEMOCRAT UMPIRES ARE CHEATERS. THEY LEARNED FROM THIS ADMINISTRATION
I absolutely agree with you 100 percent. These umpires are probably betting on certain games they “call”.
I KNOW LIKE 99%OF UMPIRES ARE SO INEPT AND BLIND
they need to take those robot umpires from the minors into the majors, the technology is here, and it has already been done in the minors
Remember Eric Gregg? He would call it a strike if it's a foot outside!
Umpires and referees that blow obvious calls should be suspended just like players, none of them should determine who wins or loses by making bad calls.
None of those were obvious

I was at this game near home plate. That ump got boo'd out so bad. I felt second hand shame lol.
same lol
Start naming the umps and keep stats on their calls.
Lmao 😂
Infield fly rule.
I was there next to third base they were balls clear as day
Umpires be deciding games. Thats some BS.
Infield fly rule.
“Hey Ump!! Get off your knees!! Your blowing the game !” 😂
This is how games are rigged!
Time to start ejecting umpires
Right!! Where's lieutenant Frank Drummond from Police squad when you need him?? 😂👍
Ump calling balls and strikes like he's got money on the tigers
Is money involved? Yes. That's all you need to know.
The major 4s baseball basketball football and hockey all ran by Vegas now
Those are balls for sure…..the only thing you can say is the umpire was consistent on these at bats. I wonder if he called it that way all game long.
Fact is the home plate umpire can control the out come of a game. Time to put electronic balls and strikes in place.
Then they can’t rig the games
The SADDEST PART IS THE UMP WILL NOT BE DISCIPLINED FOR HIS OBVIOUS MISTAKES!!!!
Infield fly rule.

When is the mlb gonna hold the ump accountable for the horrible calls. This is ridiculous.

when your mom says you have Jomboy at home
They should have extra umps on standby, when an ump is this bad he should be pulled from the game, his pay for the game forfeited and immediately replaced.
Ump must have made bank calling this game.
Ump had money on the line, but he's union-protected.
Umpire should never umpire behind the plate again
I was here near the dugout I couldn’t believe it dude
Gambling becoming a factor in baseball?
I watch every Giants game and this happens to them all of the time! It especially hurts when it’s the third strike with someone in scoring position!
How do the umpires get away with this?
They must have found that in the parking lot before the game and asked him if he wanted to try umping that night. 😅
This is why the umps need to be held accountable for bad calls!! Ridiculous and I'm not even a cardinals fan
My extent of baseball knowledge is in fantasy (and is tenuous at best), but this ineptitude is absurd
It wasn’t a double ejection it was the bench coach then the manager who got tossed.
Eject the umpire out of MLB.
The Umps should honestly just have the calls read to them from the AI strike zone/safe or out computer. This way they can keep their job, be a part of the game but just be messengers and peace keepers💯
Bad umpiring isnt cheating. Its just bad umpiring
Umpire was like gotta help the motor city
This dude should be a greeter at Walmart instead of an ump

That's what you call cheating at it's best 😂.
This isn't cheating, they're just bad calls.
Credit to the pitcher for working the strike zone
Many of these clips I feel like will be used in evidence when they finally catch their bookie

This is why there will be no umpires and it will all be done digitally.
I wonder how much that home plate umpire owed his bookie
The umpire had money on the game. He made out good on that game

Back a few decades we were taught to learn the umpires strike zone and bat accordingly. As a pitcher I took advantage of it many times.
Is that angel behind the plate lol
Now that so many states have made it legal too bet on sports I wonder how many officials are making calls to cover their bets?🤔
I can't watch sports anymore. Umps or Refs just absolutely Awful.
He was consistent with the call though😂😂😂
I know the umpire is bad, but the guy in the stands can't see that pitch
He can deduce that it was an off call based on the 12 off calls right before that
In the minor leagues they are experimenting with an automatic umpire radar tech. It’s umpires like this one where this technology needs implemented immediately.
Pitcher’s smart he threw every pitch down in the strike zone he knew he was gonna get the calls.
And hitters need to adjust if the umpire is consistent. I don’t like it, but the hitter can adjust if it happens to both teams the same.
This umpire needs to find a different job
That UMP NEEDS EJECTED!!! FROM HIS JOB!!!!!!!!!
Umpire wants to go home. Get three outs and game ends and he gets to go home.
"My legs are skinny
And my eyes are weak
Thats why I'm an umpire
In the Major Leagues"
Wish the league would do away with umpires and just go digital. Way more accurate and every play can be reviewed instantly.
I agree, I’ve seen some terrible calls by umpires on television, especially bad strike calls
Send that ump to an Optometrist
When an Ump is bought and paid for
This guy has been to the Tim Donahue school of cheating!!
I almost had the same reaction about the game today against the Cubs.
That ump better lose his job.
It happens. I guess you should lose your job every time you have a bad day.😮 It’s time for your nap 🍼🍼🍼
And they wonder why the Stands are predominantly Empty !!
They’ve been doing this to us almost every game this year
That is the ump who called a balk on Astros’ Stanek.
Man, that umpire calls ball and strike worse than the simulated umpires in MLB the Show 23 . That's impressively bad.
My uneducated guess is that every new young umpire that gets to MLB must attend Angel Hernandez course of 'Calling pitches at home plate 101'. While blindfolded. 😎

These umps are definitely democrats!!!
Now with replays you really don't need 4 umpires except one behind the plate
That’s the very same official who called a “balk”to Ryne Stanek of the Astros vs the Dodgers!! He power trips too much maybe??😂💙
Somebody put a tent over that circus
When the umpire grind. That’s f’d up.
Every freaking sport is corrupt.
20 years ago the players would have adjusted to the game. Today, they have zero clue how to do that. Being able to see the "strike zone" now has ruined the game.
That's the same umpire that called The Bark on the Astro in the last inning vs Dodgers June 24th I think
I didn't see your post before I commented. I came on here and said the same thing. He likes to give a troll smile after ejecting, like he gets off on it.
Referees and officials have too much authority and too little oversight
In the bottom of the 9th with the game on the line, if it's close enough to be called a strike, you'd better be swinging. Those pitches weren't too low where they were unhittable by any means. Great framing job by the catcher.
Professional sports is sports entertainment they can fix games they're not breaking the law by doing it
When balls got called strikes and strikes were called balls 😮
The computer box doesn't account for breaking balls that drop so much that they catch the knees
Actually of you look where it at goes pass the batter before it drops. Not where catcher catches it. Where it goes before ball drops.
the umpiring has been horrible this year.Fact!
We’ve got the worst umpires in the major leagues I’ve ever seen in my life
obviously the fix is in
The pitch box camera confirmed the calls.
An umpire being wrong is not cheating. It’s simply being wrong.
That ump should go back to call balls and strikes in high school.
I never understood how can a umpire behind the plate ,see and make a call on a ball thrown from in front of the plate 😮
Wow 😳?? So weird, that pitcher didn't even look like Greg Maddox or Tom Glavin, nor did that ump look like Country Joe West behind the plate!! 😆
the ump was calling bad, but when it's like that you have to SWING THE BAT, Not wait him out...
It's far overdue to have a robo ump with the technology we have available today
Wow that umpire is pathetic🙄🙄🙄
Couldn’t have happened to a more deserving team.
Before umpire throws his arms up to the cardinals coach that was one of worst called strikes I’ve ever seen
We need technology to call the balls and strikes
I remember that Ump. He called weird balk in ASTRO game
