One of my earliest memories is of my mom listening to Fibber McGee and Molly while she did the ironing. It was her favorite radio program. That’s probably the one of reasons that that I have such a fondness for this great show.
There’s nothing like a light comedy fantasy! George Cullen , im 40? Kinda younger I guess. My kids like the old shows as well, I just have to make sure there are no distractions, like thier phones, or video games, or TV. I'm so grateful that all of these broadcasts are available in one place, a true national treasure.
24 yrs old here, my grandparents had a whole collection of old time radio tapes, plus an otr station that used to be on the XM Radio. Me and my 26 yr old bother LOVEEEEE old time radio shows!!! We were raised on em. Such Classics, they never die. Good clean shows. No matter what you’re into....
Comedy is not funny now days unless they cuss every other word. I love the old time Radio shows like this! The good old days. good comedy and eating supper at the table with mom and dad.

Harlow was great in his own right. Added just the right "extra."

29:31 - This NBC chime is chopped out. Where's the last note? The first two notes are right, where's the last note?
On vacation with...
The lost chord. 😒
Wow. One note is missing, and you make it seem like a natural disaster. W-O-W!!
