I agree with that. One of the dumbest things we ever did. It's insolvent. Families should take care of their own. I've saved for my own retirement. I don't think unborn children should have to support me in my old age. They should be saving for their own retirement, not supporting mine. It's a Ponzi Sceme.

Saturdays especially are filled with programs advertising vitamin and nutritional supplements. And they sell and sell big!
I disagree. In the 1920’s, radio was a phenomenon and a craze. Today it’s an appliance and irrelevant to most people. I also dispute your 80% figure. What your source for that? (I worked in radio for 50 years btw)
There were no $ 500. Radios in the 20s and 30s . I know I was born in 1936 , that's a price for a new car in the 20s . This narrator needs learn more before talking about the 1920s &1930s .

He clearly gives you all the different prices. The $500 radios were the most expensive radios and they were made by EH Scott and Silver Marshall. They could actually cost anywhere between $500 and $800. However, those weren’t your cheap $21 radios from Sears Roebuck. Your comment suggests that when you were between the ages of 1 and 3, you knew The cost of different appliances. I highly doubt that. I have found multiple pieces of advertisements promoting radios that cost $500 in the 1930s.
today i have 7 victrola gramophones ,i love them and i listening to same records almost every day and i have about 100 radios i collect for same time ,,,but ,,,,, from 1925 up to 1960's ,,all tube stuff ,nothing transistor junk, transistor have no power and sound quality like a tube , that's the reason i don't collect transistor stuff ,i have 1930's 1940's radios still working like new but i don't abuse them because they could fail any moment
RADIO and TV is 99.9% advertisement F,,,,them ,no more TV and RADIO for me brother ,thanks god youtube exist ,i stop listening or watching TV long time ago , i don't even have a tv or radio in my house anymore but i have 7 gramophones victrola in good working condition and 300 vinyl records

How about the gramophone. Everyone by the 1930s had one in there home
