If my college had looked like Hogwarts, I would have been learning better. This atmosphere is amazing... I would feel very motivated and I wouldn't be distracted by phone or anything else.
I'm going to a College in Canada (I'm from Brazil) and as much as it's a nice and good place, it's too technological, I wish I could afford a university that had this Hogwarts vibe, I think it would help me focus by pretending I am at Hogwarts :') (maybe one day...)
Same with me, Paulina: My university experience was boring as F... because the place was dull and both the teachers and the students wouldn't stop talking about socialism :-(
I loooove how the break is in the courtyard, me and my classmates have been discussing studying and what really helps and it definetly is changing rooms when you're on your break!
I really like your 50/10 pomodoro session, it really helps to organize home office routine. Sounds of breaks are so cheerful I can't help smiling every time :)

More 50/10 Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, or The Hobbit sessions would be greatly appreciated!! Love the background noises etc. I can't study with just plain piano music, so, I can't use a lot of the other Pomodoro videos as they make me sleepy and tired!! Thank you again!!!!
This is amazing and helps me to be more productive with my PhD. The only problem is that it makes me feel very old (I'm already too old even for college [I'm 26], not to mention Hogwarts), and that sometimes I get the urge to cry, when those distant melodies arise, melodies from the first movie, when I was a still child, full of potentialities, before having wasted all my youth, having lost so many opportunities, and acquired so many personality defects and bad habits. Anyway, thank you, these pomodoro videos are very helpful, specially for those of us who are studying at home, perhaps even depressed and prone to procrastination or to indulgence in dopaminergic fixes.
Im still in college too and im 25. I absolutely agree with you on how they added music and noises from the first movie. It definitely makes me feel younger and not feel like a failure because im still in school. But you are never too old for things you love! Even school. There are people of all ages still in school or going back to school and education doesnt have an age limit 😊
Your're 26 and working on your PhD ? really no need to feel bad, thats amazing! I am 27 and struggling for years now to finish my bachelors degree, but my deadline is in 2 weeks and it will work out at last! wish you all the strenght you need for the PhD :)
I know I'm a year late, but there is nothing wrong with being a college student at 26 (27?). It took me 11 years (including a 5 year break) to finish my bachelor's. I had epilepsy, so I could only take 1 or 2 college courses at a time. I went to school for 5 years, had surgery that cured my seizures, worked for 5 years, then went back to school and finished my degree when I was 30. Most of the people in my classes were in their early 20's (and none of them could read cursive!), but I knew a lot of others who had to drop out of school to take care of ailing parents, started their own families, had health issues, etc., and came back to finish their degrees. You are also a lot farther along than I will ever be. I am never going to try to earn a PhD, and while I have considered graduate-level certificates, I am not going to attempt a master's degree. You should definitely pat yourself on the back for what you have been able to accomplish, so far, and if you are still working at that PhD, best of luck to you! I do agree with you about the nostalgia and a longing to attend a magical school! Peace from a Ravenclaw!
I can relate on every single level. I’m 25 and I still haven’t graduated college or grad school. And I do rely on caffeine fixes which is really bad because I have anxiety and it just makes it worse. I left school because I have depression and anxiety but a lot of people take a break from school and come back. I would like to get a graduate degree so I can become a professor.
I have gotten obsessed with these, I don't even realise when 4 hours have gone by and I get a lot of stuff done... Please don't ever stop making these...❤❤

Hi Hendril! This is long overdue but I just want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart for existing. Your HP ASMR videos SAVED me from having mental breakdowns & panic attacks as I studied for my board exam a couple years ago. This particular video is what I would have playing as I studied for hours and hours everyday. (And I still have it play in the background til this day.) Your channel is always my go-to whenever I'm at my desk/computer, or doing chores. Thank you for making me feel like I'm in Hogwarts. I cannot express enough how grateful I am for you & your videos. I really like how one sound doesn't totally overpower the other sounds! I was listening to a video yesterday where the footsteps in the library were SO much louder than everything else and it was really distracting.

I love the way that there are people talking in the background - it really resembles a library with all that and the sound of turning pages. I've been using this repeatedly now. Esp with the echos they're absolutely great!!
I use these videos along with my notion as a planner and I have found that it is a lot more effective. I go to college and it can be really unmotivating trying to study or complete homework. So since I take four classes and I am a full time student I assigned my classes a house for example, my english class is blue which means Ravenclaw and my Stats class is green meaning slytherin etc. etc. And I have turned my notion into an online hogwarts and its so helpful. I used to earn grades of C's or D's and just this past winter 2022, I passed all of my classes with two A's and 2 B's. I also link videos like this into my notion so thank you so much for making video's like these. Thank you for motivating so many of us.
That’s a great idea, but I also have another idea. I use each common room seasonally. I use Hufflepuff in the spring, Gryffindor in the summer, Ravenclaw in the fall, and slytherin in the winter. But I like your idea as well.

Awesome video, and as a comment below, i gonna transcript my dutys as a homework from hogwarts (as i didn't go to uni tho lol , hope this delulu help me get things done) - read two papers about math models (for model how many travels by broom are made by person!!) - read three sources about this models (we need to know how the previous models works) - try changing a line of the coding to know what happends (there is something i need to know how the model interpret) - Write Rolanda Hooch (my research teacher) abt my advances of the week (a letter, of couse) Good look everybody with your work!

Haha! I am 51 and in college again. I know how you feel and empathize, but it is never too late. Tomorrow is fresh with no mistakes in it.
