To be honest, I don't mind this. Sony is actually pretty decent. However, when its about Spider-Man, they do go bananas. At least its not Warner Brothers Discovery
They own playstation... they will give us proper TMNT games also they're TV side is fantastic The Boys, cobra Kai, The last of Us, Twisted Metal and Better Call Saul/breaking bad all sony most people are judging this off 4 spiderman spin offs
I agree. I actually think that despite their flaws, Sony Picture has made some decent pictures in recent times, Across the spider verse, Mitchell vs the machine, etc.
Of course, Sony has made some questionable movies like the emoji movie, Madame Web, etc. but I think it is a risk that we have to take because I would rather movie studios take chances to be bad and occasionally make some masterpieces. Because the alternative is Disney, which I prefer movie studio not do, because Disney is now an empire of entertainment that has lost its creativity soul.
I have a bad feeling about this...

Look, Sony isn't all bad as a whole company--and the Spiderverse movies make it clear their troubles aren't even all movies (although they've made a LEGION of disastrous tech decisions over the past 40 years as well). But damn, if ANY of the stink of their Spiderman stuff disasters touches the franchises you mentioned--or Star Trek--it will be a sh*tshow we can barely imagine. Yes, they've been that bad.

Honestly it's just Spider-Man they've been ruining lately, they've recently been on a roll in bringing back long dead franchises like Jumanji, Ghostbusters, The Karate Kid, and Bad Boys.
To be fair to Sony, some of their spider man movies are alright, especially when they chose Lord and Miller to produce them. They haven't been consistently bad, so I still believe that if they are smart about Spiderman which I know they are not, but I hope that they will wake up being smart about it. I mean if they are smart in the future, they will allow lord and miller to run their entire Spiderman movie strategy going forward.

Sony only owns the movie rights but Marvel has a contract with them at the moment i think they would need to talk with Marvel

@-TurboS I've never heard that but what I know is Sony only owns the movie rights and maybe some TV stuff but Marvel can still put Spiderman in Mcu because of the deal they have in the contract and that deal is why Spiderman isn't in any of the sony movies venom ect because they aren't allowed plus Marvel can do pretty much any tv show with him they are making one at the minute about when Spiderman is in college, again Marvel still owns the IP of Spiderman just not Movie rights which they sold in the 90s
