Klyden went from being a character you love to hate to an absolutely wholesome and heartwarming character. I honestly teared up a bit when he came back and apologized to Topa for shunning her. The Orville really grew it’s beard this season and lets hope it’s not the last.
People complain that the Orville tries to blend comedy and Sci-Fi, but these last few episodes really proved that can still work in a normally serious show.
I feel like Seth finally managed to hit that sweet spot that Stargate SG-1 managed to hit, where the comedy wasn't forced in but more of a consequence of the characters acting like real people
@@brianjones8899 Must have been quite a realization haha. As for me, I watched Orville first before I gave expanse a try. The moment i saw Fred Johnson's glaring expression, that was it for me I couldn't unsee Klyden from his face.

He went from a regular funny bigot, to an infuriating P.O.S, to a character with one of the best character developments in the show.
not once did i hate klyden. he was consistently one of my favorite characters mostly because i understood the bigoted stuff was fictional
Bortus's singing seems to be the only thing he does that Klyden approves of.

The Orville is a great show. It definitely needs a season 4 and more.

The funniest part to me is that Klyden is played by the same actor as Fred Johnson from The Expanse. Couldn't be more different
