Roberto had to change the name of the play and certain characters in order to keep going. Also it didn't make sense for the black hood to be Hal because the actor ,Lochlyn Munro, in s1 has BLUE EYES and the Black Hood has GREEN EYES and that was the biggest clue about his identity ( Very unrelated but Let It Shine is better than HSM idc what anyone says)

Honestly, I loved how they started the time jump as a nice refresher (since the main cast are fully adults at this point). But, I wish other characters from Riverdale like Cheryl and Kevin were more involved in the mystery. I really like your idea of the spin-off. As for season 6, I'm just going to warn you. Starting off, things will get really weird. But, they're bringing in Sabrina (who's connected to Cheryl since they're both witches) and you get see some of the actors act more. I just hope after the 5-episode event that they bring in a really good mystery that all of the characters can be a part of.
I’ve been a fan since it premiered. I still watch it and I still love it. 😂 It has changed a lot since season 1, but I think that’s the fun part about it. It doesn’t always make sense and you just gotta accept how wild it is sometimes. I’m excited for you to see the “Rivervale” episodes in season 6. They are extra wild, but really fun to watch. It was a nice way to bring more horror/supernatural storylines to the show.

personally i’m a riverdale fan, have been since the pilot and involved in the fandom but the general consensus since s3 has been we hate it but stay for the characters/ships. it’s a love-hate relationship. this show hasn’t had a point and has been going downhill since season 2b which interestingly enough is the reason i DONT want it to end. we all know the show is terrible yet we still watch it so it obviously doesn’t bother us THAT much. if the show still has an audience it can keep going. as an objectively bad show. idc. it works. when i heard about the 7-year-timejump i was mad at first but when the first ep hit it was really exactly the thing we needed bc that ep was so good. it went downhill again real quick but i enjoyed 5x04-5x06… then i actually did sth i haven’t in almost FIVE YEARS and stopped watching. the show was uninteresting 5x09-5x14 so i just skipped some eps and jumped back in the last couple of eps. i’ve never been a “if my ship isn’t dating i’m not watching” kinda person (obviously since betty and archie never dated before) but s5 was just too boring for me to be invested beyond them (and tabitha/her relationship with jughead). NOW SEASON 6 is completely insane. the concept is off the wall but i love it bc i’m entertained. i love the whole 5-ep-event and i hope that the rest of s6 can at least be half as entertaining… we’ll see next year

If someone was 21 when the show premiered in 2017, they would have been around 26 when you posted this video in 2022 - or just about the age the characters were after the time jump. personally i’m a riverdale fan, have been since the pilot and involved in the fandom but the general consensus since s3 has been we hate it but stay for the characters/ships. it’s a love-hate relationship.
this show hasn’t had a point and has been going downhill since season 2b which interestingly enough is the reason i DONT want it to end. we all know the show is terrible yet we still watch it so it obviously doesn’t bother us THAT much. if the show still has an audience it can keep going. as an objectively bad show. idc. it works.
when i heard about the 7-year-timejump i was mad at first but when the first ep hit it was really exactly the thing we needed bc that ep was so good. it went downhill again real quick but i enjoyed 5x04-5x06… then i actually did sth i haven’t in almost FIVE YEARS and stopped watching. the show was uninteresting 5x09-5x14 so i just skipped some eps and jumped back in the last couple of eps. i’ve never been a “if my ship isn’t dating i’m not watching” kinda person (obviously since betty and archie never dated before) but s5 was just too boring for me to be invested beyond them (and tabitha/her relationship with jughead). NOW SEASON 6 is completely insane. the concept is off the wall but i love it bc i’m entertained. i love the whole 5-ep-event and i hope that the rest of s6 can at least be half as entertaining… we’ll see next year

I like watching Riverdale simply because it's so damn ridiculous!! Haha. I just try to ride along with the mystery and every shenanigan they have. After watching each episode I feel glad that I don't live in a place like Riverdale hahahaha.

This might be shocking news, but it's not just teens who watch teen dramas. You said you're 21 and you watch it. If someone was 21 when the show premiered in 2017, they would have been around 26 when you posted this video in 2022 - or just about the age the characters were after the time jump. And even people over the ripe old age of 21 watch Riverdale. In a way you watch a car accident, as in you can't look away, but still :D Just to answer your "who is this relatable to?" question.

24 and Riverdale is not representative of adult life at all! Honestly, it's not that the characters are bad cause we loved them before but the writing has like exponentially gone down hill. Like character development... who is she. Actual plot... don't know her at all. Even like proper relationship dynamics... gone. I just don't even know what the writers are doing at this point. Plot twist an AI actually wrote all the scripts or something. Like honestly would be brilliant if they like did some stunt like this

There’s just no consistent plot line…like I don’t actually know what is the reason behind Riverdale if that makes sense. Like most shows have a new concept each season but they stay consistent with what’s the meaning of the story. Idk if any of that made sense, but that’s how I feel🤣
Also riverdale has like 20 plot lines in each season. Like I know a lot of shows try too many story lines in one season, but not to the extent riverdale does imo.🤣
