This was so helpful, thank you for posting. Your nature journaling is so lovely! I am a beginner in watercolor, switching from acrylics to watercolor at age 72...ha. Since I walk the dog daily I began my own nature journal after viewing your videos. ❤

Thank you for your inspiration and tutorials. I also started nature journaling recently. It took me very long to actually start. One of my goals is, to also draw outside in nature, which is not so easy. But I manage and it makes me so happy, calm and satisfied. I feel so connected to nature this way.
Thanks for watching! Great to hear about your nature journaling and drawing outdoors. It’s definitely not easy but I agree how just being in nature can be so peaceful 😊😊😊
Beautiful entry in your nature diary! It’s so inspiring to watch your process, you make it feel very approachable. I especially appreciate that you get lovely results on cellulose paper. (I also have a Stan Tekiela tree guide for my state and love it!)
Thank you! Hope it helps…especially with painting on cheaper watercolor paper…art shouldn’t be so expensive so everyone can make art. I didn’t know he made so many guides…local guides are SO helpful!! 😊
I was just reading about Sycamore trees and came upon your video. I love the look of your journaling -your painting along with pen and ink is something I love to see and to do. Subbing to your channel. Susan in AZ.🏜️

They’re definitely not the best paper for wet on wet techniques but have worked well for ink and paint. I like to show inexpensive materials so people don’t feel intimidated to nature journal. 😊🍂
