- AMERICAN ACCENT TRAINING - FULL TRACK 1-45 CD 1
Can I Learn a New Accent?
Can a person actually learn a new accent?
Many people feel that after a certain age, it's just not possible.
Can classical musicians play jazz?
If they practice, of course they can! For your American accent,
it's just a matter of learning and practicing techniques this book and CD set will teach you. A very important thing you need to remember is that you can use your accent to say what you mean
and how you mean it.
Word stress conveys meaning through tone or feeling, which can be much more important than the actual words that you use.
We'll cover the expression of these feelings
through intonation in the first lesson.
It is up to you to use them or not. How well you do depends mainly on how open and willing you are to sounding different from the way you have sounded all your life.

@OtakuGirl-gv7fe just give it a try
Hello, I mean you are well keeping!
How can I find the book today?the PDF one,
@@antoineamani3170 you can get it from google
This is so good. I wish I knew this 30 years ago. 😂 this would be a good starting point for intonations. Everyone says intonation means different things. But to a foreigner ear, i could hear the difference, but it didn’t denote anything to me. Maybe not everyone speak like this but it is definitely a good starting point. I still don’t know some of these.
Is it helpful please tell me my re about the books
This is the absolute best delivery in this subject matter available on the Internet, second best being a distant runner up. All the others that I've seen, rather than give you general instructions, so you can construct useful methodologies, overload you with arbitrarily chosen examples to clutter the mind with.
Thank you so much for this very informative and stimulation tutorial
That's some high quality content.
I am glad I found it.😊
Thanks for your appreciation 🤗😉
I love American accent, I respect the others, Canadian, British, etc though. and since the year I began to learn this beautiful and important language, I haven't stopped anymore!

thank you very much

@@SaungInggris27 I would appreciate if you can drop videos related to slang and how to sound slang in order to appear more native, when natives say watcha insted of what you, they replace the y by a ch
they are not replacing the Y by a CH, it's just a product of the last T in What that makes you touch the top of your mouth right before you do the Y sound and therefore produces a CH like sound. It happens the same when the previous sound is a D sound, wich together with the Y sound will make say a J sound, this is not slang, this is only a natural connection of the sound so I recommend you to learn to make properly each sound@@andresgomez5592

Since I like crunchy peanut butter, I am thinking of putting peanuts on top of my creamy peanut buttered bread. I am in Mexico where sometimes it’s hard to find some thing like crunchy peanut butter so thanks.
This video was interesting in many ways more than the peanut idea though! ❤
